Had dinner here last evening. Very good,nice ambiance, good service. Husband had the filet, baked potato and side salad. I had the salmon with side salad and veggies. Our proteins were nicely done, except a little too much seasoning, made them too salty. I took one star off because this was a nice dinner in a nice place. I don’t think for what we paid our food should be served on plastic plates and bowls.

There was eight of us guys that came down to hunt ducks in Pearson Georgia. We asked some local friends for a great place to grab a steak. They told us about the Fern Bank Grill. I’ll have to say it was excellent. Our group said it was one of the best steaks ever had !!
They cooked our Steak over fire absolutely delicious highly recommend to anyone looking for some really good food and great service. Everything was so good. We went two nights in a row!

Food was real good. Steak, burgers, dolphin and appetizers were very good. Our waitress was very nice, made up for the rude hostess. We were unaware a reservation was required and damn if she didn’t let us know that. I’m older so I can say, she was an older woman, maybe tired, a lil cranky. She could have handled a lil better, been a lil nicer. She showed us to our table, never said another word to us. Again, the waitress was super nice and all ended enjoyable! A rude hostess almost ruined my first visit.

Was working out of state and decided to take a chance and tried the place out. They accommodated for the large group that I had with me. The alcohol was perfect and excellent to the bartenders. Our waitress was nice,sweet and was very organized and the place was busy.. The food was cooked perfectly. If it’s busy trust me it’s worth the wait, time and money. Very nice atmosphere.. if your in the town it’s a must eat. If you like to travel and enjoy eating at different places then it’s well worth it. So I must say to the establishment and workers there.. “I was impressed and I’ll for sure be returning to eat there and keep up the great food, drinks, and the smiling and friendlyness environment you all have a long with the great work and service you all do and give. Thanks..

Spent almost $50 bucks on ONE steak (Filet Mignon) and ordered it *RARE* (!!!) this past Saturday evening. Well, after returning home with my order … I sadly found out my steak was medium-to-medium well [and this over cooking caused my steak to be tough & chewy with very little natural flavor]. So, I called the restaurant back immediately and they wanted me to return the ENTIRE order … and then they would replace my over-cooked filet mignon. I’m like REALLY ♂️ (???) — it had been raining most of the weekend and I honestly didn’t want to go back out (especially since the college football game I really wanted to watch was now on TV). One of the employees said the owner’s wife (or some sort of owner) would call as soon as she got back to the restaurant, since I DID NOT want to go back to the restaurant— but NO luck … & NO return phone call either!!! I’m very disappointed with this whole deal — (and when you pay almost $50 bucks for ONE meal … the least the restaurant can do is cook it right…the FIRST time)!!! This is sooooo UNLIKE every other experience I’ve had eating at the Fern Bank Grille …. they are usually on-point and generally have the BEST steaks in Douglas, GA …. just NOT this time, for me that night + the completely TERRIBLE customer service—I mean WOW, like it’s really MY FAULT y’all screwed-up on my steak … well, that’s exactly how they made me feel anyways!!!!!

Hade the Delmonico house special. One of the best pieces of steak ever. I’m a ribeye girl and i absolutely loved the flavor throughout due to the even marbling. And Caren at the bar was superb.
