The Ferguson House is definitely a beautiful spot with a cool atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and I really appreciated that they offer outdoor seating for guests with pets. We brought our dog, and they even brought out a water bowl for her, which was a nice touch.

That said, I did feel the food was overpriced for what we received. I ordered the Chili Bacon Cheeseburger—while the bacon and seasoning were good, the burger itself was overcooked, on the small side, and didn’t feel worth the $20 price tag. It came with chips, but I upgraded to the mac and cheese for an extra $5, which honestly wasn’t worth it. It lacked flavor and creaminess and just felt bland.

My wife had the gyro. She liked the tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, and soft pita bread, but the meat was overcooked and lacking in flavor. The chips with hummus on the side were average.

While we were waiting, we noticed quite a few people came up, looked at the menu, and decided to leave after seeing the prices. In hindsight, we probably should have done the same.

Overall: Beautiful atmosphere, clean, pet-friendly, and great service—but the food felt overpriced and underwhelming. Probably wouldn’t go back.

We had reservations for a wonderful birthday/valentine’s day dinner.

We very much appreciated the Alpha Gal friendly menu options.

Tables are close together and it is relatively small so if you want (or need) quiet be sure to go in at an off time or day.

Hostess Suzy was wonderful. But after we were seated it was 30 minutes wait for drinks, an hour wait for an appetizer.

Hour and 15 minutes wait for salad. Pickled vegetables were just raw vegetables with a vinaigrette over it. White Russian Cocktail served curdled liqueur. Caesar Salad was a bit over dressed.

Half potato in kids chicken meal was potato chips. Did not get mixed vegetables that were suppose to come with one of the meals.

Overall food was good but we were forgotten about after being seated.

I stopped here in June and it was the best place I have ever ate! We originally were walking around and stopped in for a beer and eventually ended up ordering food. The margarita was fabulous. The food was beyond expectation and good portions. I had the portobello mushroom burger, it was the best burger I have ever had! And i have ate a lot of vegetarian/vegan burgers! The lady who waited on us was great, very family and prompt service. We tried to go back the next day but they were closed. I would drive the 15 hours again to eat here if possible!

This Bistro was delicious! We started with the tortilla chips and hummus. The chips were some of the crispiest chips I’ve ever eaten, but in a good way. The chips were fresh and the red pepper hummus was delicious! The Chicken of the week was off the charts. Everything came together in the perfect proportions for an explosion of flavor in your mouth! The quesabirria nachos also did not disappoint! Somehow the nachos were not soggy but had tons of toppings! No empty chips on this plate! All ingredients were very fresh! The Bistro had a few vegan options on the menu and has many Alpha Gal Friendly options. The restaraunt was clean and the staff were very friendly! If you’re in Nashville for Nature, a concert, or the artisan village Ferguson House Bistro will not disappoint!

If you’re visiting Nashville, don’t miss out on this hidden gem. The atmosphere of on old farm house with the service of southern hospitality. The menu is posted outside the restaurant and online to see if they’re within your price range and tastes. They have an amazing seasonal specials and cocktail menu. The Apple Cider Mojito was refreshing. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and Lamb Chops- which came with sides and choice of soup or salad. The Seafood Chowder was great with real chunks of seafood and a flavorful broth. The meals were both tasty and cooked to perfection. We also appreciated that their kids menu offerings are similar to their adult offerings like steak bites and a kids size shrimp and grits at a reasonable price. We finished the meal with a cheesecake flight with Almond Joy, Butterfinger, and Cherry Lime. While they were all delicious, we recommend the Butterfinger one if you enjoy a full flavor cheesecake. We dined on a Thursday evening so it wasn’t super crowded but reservations would be recommended any other time.

We had a great meal. Everyone was pleased with the lamb chops, Mac and cheese, and shrimp and grits. What I’m still thinking about are the tacos. If you’re a cheese lover and a pot roast (with a little kick) lover, then these tacos are a must. Delicious cheese shell, tender filling, and flavorful dipping Au jus. So good!

We found this place by accident and it didn’t disappoint. Dog and pet friendly. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Nice outdoor seating. Food id of good proportion and tastes amazing. We had brunch and had 7 different food from menu. This is a nice brunch place, parking is on the street. Try out their soups.

We had to wait for a hour to get seated outside because we had a dog. No big deal but the lady who was taking seating was just a little grouchy and not friendly at all. I asked her twice about our table and wait and no nice response . Finally she gave me a answer that she called the phone but we received no such call and we were sitting right outside no one called our name. But our waitress was great. The food was so so and way over priced. We had two gyros and two grilled cheese sandwiches and i had a salad half $17 and a brussel sprouts appetizer and soft drinks. $117.00 plus tip. Oh and a order of pup cup bacon $3.
Pita bread was ok not the best. The sauce was very good. We knew the cost but thought we would get quality food and no grumpy hostess. Would not go back.
Atmosphere was great and a beautiful day.

My wife and I stopped by The Ferguson House to have a drink and some lunch this beautiful day. The atmosphere is really nice. We walked in at 11:45am and the front porch had two couples sitting at it. After 15 minutes I went in to order our drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary and my wife a lemonade. The bartender who saw we had been waiting for a while offered the drinks for free but I refused, paid, left a tip then went to sit back down. At 12:10pm, after 25 minutes, our server finally appeared to offer us water. At this point we decided not to eat as we had little hope anyone would ever come back. The bartender did come out to check on us and offer us menus which we politely declined. She was super nice. This review is really just based on a complete lack of awareness by the staff as a sever passed us four times in this 25 minute span and could see the other server had never been by.
