The Feed Sack- Aiken is a casual dining experience with something for everyone! The restaurant is set in a delightful atmosphere with a horse flair detail. The menu consists of Signature Salads and Burgers to Seafood and Steak. A Wine and Cocktail menu are handcrafted. The restaurant also has a retail wine selection. The bar is open until 11 PM but the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM.

Our first time in. Our server Chloe H was excellent. I feel like we worked her to death and we always got a smile and a no problem. The live piano was a special touch. Such a variety. I had to get up and tip him during Phantom of the Opera. I cannot believe I haven’t touched the Food. It was OFF THE CHAIN phanomenol. The Ahi appetizer is a must do. My crab cakes were the best I ever had. Our daughter had Salmon cooked to perfection. They even let us bring in a cake to celebrate our daughters birthday. We thought the prices were reasonable considering the atmosphere and the quality.

Had a birthday dinner here 12/29 and Jason was very and helpful in setting and adjusting my reservation as needed before the date. Service was excellent and timely even with a party of 10. Food came out at a good time and tasted great. Maddie was particularly amazing throughout and I greatly appreciate her service!

Very nice place for dinner, great atmosphere. Jennifer was our server and she was awesome. I had the Fish & Chips, it was excellent. Deviled eggs were excellent and the Brussel sprouts were tasty too. We also had a divine piece of coconut cake. My wife got the lemon chicken, she was not a huge fan of the fact it was breaded but not a deal breaker. Overall I’m sure it’s one of, if not the top place to dine in Aiken.

We’ve eaten at Feed Sack before and it was OK. Nothing fantastic but also nothing terrible, until tonight. We went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was a Tuesday. The place was busy but no wait for a table. However there was a wait for everything else. We ordered a plate of calamari to start. Somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes later we received what appeared to be frozen calamari fried up served with a tomato paste dipping sauce. Literally that in a white bowl so not the greatest attempt at plating.
Another 15 minutes later we received our side salad. Wilty lettuce, 3 thick slices of cucumber not a very inspiring meal so far. Almost an hour after we placed our order did our entrees show up. My wife’s lobster ravioli was drenched in what was supposed to be a vodka sauce. Totally overpowered any chance at tasting the lobster but there was a fish like after taste.
My entree of short ribs was sent back. They served me a plate with a borken gravy (you could see the separation of the sauce.) The greens were literally burnt. Nothing really green about them and the mashed potatoes were a dried scoop of something. The plat was dirty. I called the manager over and had it sent back. They offered to replace or bring something else but after an hour of waiting, i said no thank you. We passed on dessert and went to La Parisienne (we should’ve gone there for dinner) to pick up dessert.
It will take a very long time before I try to go back to the Feed Sack. When you are charging more than $30 an entree, you can’t have this off a night. You’ll need to do much better

The perfect birthday celebration for my husband. The calamari was SO amazing. My husband loved his Feed Sack burger cooked exactly like he asked. We also had croissant chicken and the reuben. Our server was above par, extremely friendly, went out of his way to help us with a million things. He helped us have a great celebration taking the cake back to the kitchen, bringing it back out, getting us a lighter, just an amazing waiter all around. It was my first time at the Feed Sack , I was so happy that I ignored what my preconceived notions were because when I got inside the gorgeous antiques and ambiance knocked it out of the ballpark. Well done! Wow! Now that I have been, we’re going to be frequent flyers

Traveling through area stopped for dinner. Seated immediately. It was very loud where we were seated and difficult to talk so close to the piano music. I ordered fish and chips which was very good. My wife ordered chicken salad sandwich and it was very bland. I took a bite of it and honestly couldn’t tell what kind of meat it was, it was just blah. Our server was ok but not very personable. We were underwhelmed but tired and ready to leave

Nice layout and beautiful decor. Plenty of food, just not exciting with the flavor, beautiful presentation though. Wait staff was friendly and I shouldn’t have to continuously ask for refill on water, attentive but could improve on attention to detail. Pianist played while we were there too! Didn’t realize we could’ve sat in the back to watch the game till a restroom break. Will drive up from Augusta again to give em another try.

It was my birthday and my son took me out for an early supper. I had eaten there a few times, so I expected good food. The service was good and the appetizer wad good. However, I ordered a steak, a very expensive one, 8 ounces and got a medium steak with a delicious salad, good mashed potatoes and broccoli cooked well. The sides were very good. However, the steak was gristly and I could not chew it and had to spit out what would not be chewed. The flavor was food but I could not eat it even when I took it home. I recommend the Reuben and fish, but not the steak.

Found this little gem by accident. Such beautiful decor and inviting atmosphere. Very casual place with an upscale feel. There are so many tantalizing appetizers to choose from. We picked the Pimento Cheese Dip and were not disappointed! The bacon jelly was such a wonderful addition…although bacon makes everything better!! Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The many enticing meal choices make it so hard to decide, but I went with the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. The roast beef was so tender and juicy that it literally did not need the au jus! We thought we’d have room for dessert but the portions were so large, we had to get it to go! Wonderful place to have a date night or family get together. Large dining area with plenty of seating. For being quite busy with a lot of people, the noise level was extremely low and we didn’t have to yell to hear each other talk. Highly recommend and will return!

Maddie was exceptional! Such a delightful waiter. We always enjoy dining here on our travels. Food is excellent and the piano music is absolutely superb!! Having a glass of wine and enjoying the beautiful serenade is the BEST! My husband and I try to be the first to say the name of the song. He is excellent!! We will return again and again
