We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the host. The interior is tasteful and elegant, with the charm of an old house.
Every detail of our evening felt thoughtful and intentional. I was celebrating my birthday, and when we arrived at our table, the menu read “Happy Birthday Ms. Krug!” — such a lovely touch.
The food was spectacular. It’s clear the chefs are highly skilled; each dish was beautifully presented, well-balanced, and dare I say, perfect.
The service is unmatched. Our server, Dan, was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. From the timely placement of silverware to the quiet refilling of water glasses and the smooth pacing of courses, everything was spot on. As we were leaving, he even noticed us taking selfies outside and came out to offer to snap a few photos — such a kind gesture.
The little things and the big things were all considered and executed flawlessly. I can’t wait for my next meal here.
It was dark when we got there. As we arrived, you noticed the cute little village area, with shops, the hotel and restaurant. Parking was easy to find.
We walked over to the restaurant, the outside was beautiful. We were immediately greeted by the hostess when we walked in and led to our table. The inside was just as beautiful and well organized.
Our waiter came by shortly thereafter to get our water preference first and the back again to explain the menu (chef’s tasting vs prix fixe menu) as well as drink order. We decided on the prix fixe 4 course dinner.
The night was eventful from beginning to end; there’s so much detail I can get into. From our waiter who was amazing, informative, impeccably detailed and entertaining throughout the night. To each beautifully curated course presented to us, which were delicious and proportioned perfectly. The famous chocolate souffle was the star of the evening!
Overall, we had an excellent experience and we can’t wait to come back again.

I could spend a lot of time reviewing the food, but I think you really can’t go wrong. Pick a menu and make sure to get the wine pairings because your eyes will be opened up to some amazing combinations. Sommeliers were top notch. One amazing standout was the halibut my wife enjoyed. Truly one of the best pieces of fish either of us have had. The Hokkaido scallops and remarkable interpretation of steak tartare ranked a close second. And finally, get the chocolate souffle. You will not regret it.
We arrived, our table wasn’t set up even though we had a reservation so we waited while they rearranged the space, we moved into the room which felt cold and uninviting, the bar area was so much more welcoming I wish we could have sat at one of the round tables there. The environment is pretty but cold, not talking about the temperature either.
We ordered 3 pots of tea and our tier was brought out, the sandwiches were ice cold and hard. We let someone know and she confirmed the plates are premade and kept in the fridge until service, she asked if we wanted a new plate, we were weary because if they are kept in the fridge wouldn’t they be just as cold, she said they would be cold but not as cold. She brought another plate out and she was right, it wasn’t as cold but it was still cold. We did not like the turkey option, it was dry, the ricotta option was good but the ratio of ricotta to bread was way off, the salmon was good. The scones were yummy. We were never asked to refresh our tea and had to ask for more milk and sugar. We were just kind of given our stuff and left alone.
Disappointed, will not return.
