They don’t take reservations, even for a group of 8 on a Saturday night. Restraunt is not easy to find, next to townhouses in a paking lot. We arrived about 3:45 and were seared by 4:20. Most of the group order chicken dishes, an one has the walleye, and another the shrimp special. Served with choice of 7 layer salad, Ceasar salad or mushroom bisque. Also includes potato and sugar snap peas. The service was good. Food was delicious and fresh. By the time we left bar srea packed with folks having to wait for 1.5 – 2 hours. For that reason would not go back.

I usually get the tenderloin, always perfectly cooked. The 7 layer salad or the soup of the day is a great start. The coconut chicken is amazing.The Servers are friendly and helpful. If you have room left the homemade desserts are excellent!

Picture don’t do it justice. I ordered 22 oz steak I cut it down the middle so that why it looks a little funny. It was juicy and no A1 sauce was put on this baby. The yummy crisp onion on top this just melted in my mouth. My six year old had eaten most her fries before I could even take the picture she didn’t need to catch up she said they were delicious. And of course she ate half my steak. Garlic mashed potatoes nice smooth creamy oh I’m just craving it as I’m thinking about it. And their soup was delicious it was this Italian sausage at first my daughter turned her nose up on it because it looked green but she took a bite of it and she wanted to steal it from me.She did. Inside was nice and cozy and I wouldn’t have found it if I wouldn’t have been following my GPS why because I didn’t think the house was the restaurant and let me just say now I know where it is I will definitely be back again it is worth a trip. Staff was friendly and nice they gave my daughter toys to play with while we waited and we didn’t wait too long for our food. I am going back with my husband for a date night. This was a cozy little gem I am glad to find. Oh and the carrot cake was just smooth and my mouth . Which again my 6-year-old took it from me and devoured it. We went right on the dot at 4pm on a Tuesday had the place to ourselves for a minute . Then came people. The people that came were just as friendly as the staff. I agree with there sign that basically say coming as strangers leave as friends. If you’re coming with a large group call make a reservation is my suggestion. Don’t be afraid to try there special.

I brought my 90 y/o mother here last night for dinner. She had dined here years ago with a dear friend that recently passed away. Unfortunately we were unable to enter the restaurant as the wheelchair ramp is broken. I was informed by the owner it has been out of order for a week now.

The farmstead was our first really enjoyable dining experience since moving to the area this week. The restaurant was a bit confusing to find in the dark since the only visible sign was on the street and it’s located a bit back in the corner of that turn off behind another building. The hallway entrance was small and cramped. That being said. This place was very hospitable and the food was amazing. Definitely going to recommend it to family when they come visit the new place. It’s a very cozy and cute little place with delicious plates.

Very small restaurant. Food was largely delicious. The shrimp was doused in a lemon sauce though and that was not disclosed. It was listed simply as “grilled shrimp”. Everything else was perfection food wise and a good value. Bartender seemed completely disinterested and unfriendly. She was a competent bartender but several people at the bar noticed her foul mood. For a place with limited hours, no reservations and long waits, a friendly bartender would be a must in my book. All in all though, we enjoyed it and will be back! The table service was too notch!

Wow! Best steak I have ever had and I love steak. And it was gluten free, at least I had no issues with it. We waited 1.5 hours to get to a table and it was absolutely worth every minute of the wait.
