A nice surprise that I didn’t expect to find in such a small town. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved my chicken fried chicken with potatoes and gravy. For the price, my portion was much larger than expected. And it tasted great.

There is the word amazing, and then there is the Farm House of Sharon Springs KS. By a landslide the best little diner I have ever visited. Small Sunday lunch buffet and salad bar. Five Stars all around.

Not impressed. Prime rib buffet. Prime rib was okay. Sides were not good. Kid serving us seemed annoyed with us. Salad bar and chicken noodle soup was good. Son got fish and fries. Again. Just okay. Daughter got kids chicken strips and fries. Fries were mushy…. Got the tab and it was over $70. $32 for primerib….

The way they did their burger was just right.. the bacon was delicious. They have German style potatoes, which would be good on, or near anything. The waitress helpful and cool.. and steered us in the right direction.. this place has a charming ambiance and a cool Kansas rural ag “welcome home” feel.. the phone was ringing frequently w to go orders for the locals, so you k own this is the place to grab a good meal! Nice work Farmhouse.. we enjoyed our time w you!

Great place to stop and eat along our cross-country drive.This cozy restaurant has completely delicious lunch. We both enjoyed cheeseburgers which were perfectly seasoned. I loved their bacon. The servers were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Food was so greasy and my order was wrong but the waitress did offer to fix it but we were starving as we hadn’t ate all day. I’m from the south and it was even to greasy for me. This is a picture of the German potatoes the bottom had a puddle of oil. Needless to say we had stomach issues most of the night from all of the grease. I thought it was pretty pricey for 2 sandwiches and potatoes and a couple of sodas.

We ate breakfast at this restaurant. It is a real gem. Very clean and organized. The waitress was outstanding. She made suggestions and answered all questions honestly. We had two breakfasts of chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns. The cfs was prepared outstanding and huge. Everything else was cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable.

this place was recommended by a man at a fuel stop, who was a local pastor and fellow motorcyclist, I ordered the hot beef sandwich, it was excellent, must be popular with the locals, because the place filled up fast for lunch, everybody was real nice to this old grey haired motorcycle rider. A+
