The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and very laid back – it has a country feel, the music wasn’t too loud and now let’s talk about the service we received!
It was OUTSTANDING!!!!
My friend and I went there for dinner to celebrate her birthday and we had Layla for our server…she treated us so well!!! She was prompt, kept checking on us, pre bussed our table, but most of all, she was super friendly, smiled A LOT, knew the menu and offered us some options – but most of all, she treated us like family and for that, I will go back and take more people with me!!!!!!
I had the meatloaf dinner and it did not disappoint! The portion for the cost was fabulous! My friend had the salmon and it was a nice portion as well. We had the Brussel sprout appetizer and that was to die for and then I had the brownie dessert – you have to try the brownie dessert!!!!
Lastly, the manager came around to our table to see how everything was going – it’s a very friendly and nice place to eat!
I’m giving this experience 10 STARS!

They start you off with free cornbread served in a cool little cast iron skillet. With that butter melted on top, it was great. My only tiny critique is that it was a little difficult to get out of the skillet, they probably just need to grease the pan a bit more.
For an appetizer, we ordered the Bruschetta. It came out fast, the presentation was amazing, but the taste was even better. The freshness of the flavors was ri-damn-diculous! The fresh mozzarella, onions, pesto, heirloom tomatoes, and balsamic glaze completely set that thing off. I do wish the bread was toasted just a bit crispier, but it was still a winner.
My Wife ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and luckily she was in a sharing mood! I am so glad she let me try it because, as she stated, it was sooo good. The blackened chicken was cooked perfectly and really set the Alfredo off. The pasta tasted fresh, and the sauce was excellent. It was just a great choice with amazing flavor.
I got the Bison Smashed Burger, and it was absolutely on point. I love that the bison meat is locally sourced, and it was incredibly flavorful, dare I say, even more flavorful than a regular beef burger! It wasn’t super big, but it was definitely big with flavor, and I was completely full when I was done. That toasted buttery bun really added to the experience. I sliced up my pickle spear, added it straight to the burger, and man, those flavors just popped in my mouth. I love when food tastes so good that you still have the flavors lingering when you’re done to remind you of what you just ate. I would say order what we ordered and you won’t be sorry!
We ended up ordering a Peach Cobbler to go because the guests sitting next to us got one and highly recommended it. I’ll update this review with the cobbler once we find another stomach to enjoy it with at home, LOL!
The staff was great, friendly, and attentive. Honestly, even if we had to wait that hour for a table, it would have been worth it. 5-star experience all around. I have zero complaints and am already looking forward to our next visit.
skillet cornbread not too sweet 8
deviled eggs : 6. lacking good flavor with the combination. the mustard they use is wrong which i think was dijon mustard but im not sure. I just know it wasnt for me
traditional meatloaf 7. little dry but flavor was there would have been better if hot
honey glazed salmon: 8 cheese palenta didnt like. but the salmon cooked well sweet which i like because salmon is a healthy fish but can be very bland. I think a better side dish would be some form or rice.
Farmhouse wings: 7 we had the honey old bay they were crispy but the flavor of the honey and old bay was lacking. needed more seasoning but I did like their ranch.
overall worth a check out they might have been short staff thats why the food wasnt hot when it came out. I would definitely if in the area try it again.
The rack of lamb was delectable! A tasty grilled char but still cooked medium to perfection! The catfish fingers had a tasty breading and were also fried hard to my satisfaction! The mashed potatoes were light and whipped and the green beans were even tossed in a delicious sauce!
The pumpkin pie bread pudding was a serious problem (in the best way possible!) The textures complimented each other so well and the whiskey glaze truly took it over the top! 10/10!!!
The only constructive criticism I would share with management is there has been some inconsistency with the hours posted on Google v. the actual closing time of the restaurant. We tried to go late night once (around 12:30am on a Saturday when it says they’re open until 1:30am), but the restaurant was already closed and the door was locked.
Otherwise, in my humble opinion, this is the best restaurant in Crofton/Gambrils!
I’ve been here twice with my family, and everything we’ve ordered so far has been good; even the craft non-alcoholic drinks. They’re handmade, super flavorful, and taste fresh, just like the rest of the food. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the service has been excellent both times.
The first time we went, everything was delicious. I’ve tried a good chunk of the menu by now, and I make it a point to try something new each visit. On my last visit, I ordered the meatloaf, and honestly, that one didn’t impress me. It was heavy and a bit dry; not the tender, juicy kind I was expecting. Compared to their other dishes, it just didn’t hit the same.
Still, I’d absolutely go back. It’s close to home, the overall vibe is great, and it’s a solid spot for a family dinner or even a nice date night. Definitely worth checking out.
