The fruit cup was especially bad—the fruit was mushy and tasted old. To make things worse, we were told they were out of regular cups because they “keep breaking,” so our drinks were served in Styrofoam cups, which felt unprofessional.
Overall, the food quality, timing, and presentation were poor. Save your time and money and eat elsewhere.
– The hosts and other workers had zero people skills and were somewhat rude to us.
– The food took 1 hour after we sat down to get out to us.
– The Mac and Cheese was literally watery boxed Mac and cheese. (Photo)
– Half the food was cold
– The 13 year old looking busboy literally just wiped everything onto the floor (photo)
Our server was sweet and working her butt off but most other employees couldn’t care less. The two tables next to us also had problems and both asked to speak to the manager.
This feels like a management problem. I don’t know why people like this place.
Pros:
Service 10/10- the lady’s working there were awesome and in great spirits, lot of laughs and happy to see us. Food came out fast and fresh and hot!
Veggies eggs Benedict 9/10 – everything was perfect. Best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had. Hashbrowns were and cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh and delicious except the spinach which was very bitter, like it was either, old, canned or burnt can’t tell which. But easy enough to pick out.
Grits 10/10 – real butter not that country crock canola oil crap.
“big as your head” Pancake 10/10- fluffy and delicious- 3 eggs perfectly cooked, again in real
Butter, thick cut bacon.
Farmhouse hash 6/10- pork was great, eggs were great, bbq was great, but the potatoes were very under cooked. They were perfectly golden brown, so
I’m guessing the fryer was turned up too high or maybe that’s just the way they cook them. But I ate the topping with my wife’s hashbrowns and they were amazing, so when I go back I’ll just order it on top of the hash browns instead of risking hard potatoes. And it would be a 10/10
Biscuits & gravy 5/10- again it may just be preference but the biscuits to me were hard thin and chewy, and the gravy needed something to light it up. Some kind of salty fat, I think.
Overview: The place is fast, fresh, friendly and clean! You can see why they have a loyal following and After 2 or 3 visits you can really refine your order to fit your your pallet. Definitely recommend to friends and family.
Came in on Veterans Day in my old flight jacket! Nobody said Happy Veterans Day at all. Zero benefits or specials today! Food took 25 mins to get and it was cold and the hash browns were burned. I had to send them back and get the rest to go.
This is the 3rd time I’ve come here and the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE…. FOOD IS NEVER GOOD.
. Save yourself the trouble and go to Toasted Yoke or Jimmy Egg. IHOP at least they say “thank you for your service”.
After waiting an hour for our food our waitress brought out part of our order and told us that they were out of the pulled pork used to make their Farmhouse Hash. It’s understandable to run out of something, but waiting until the rest of the order is brought out to even inform us is ridiculous. I ordered the Southern Benedict instead and somehow, despite being the only table still waiting for food, the food that I was brought was cold and cooked so poorly I wasn’t even hungry anymore and just wanted to leave.
The chicken tenders were 90% breading, the poached eggs were hard boiled, and the only warm food on my plate was the waffle. I cannot recommend avoiding this restaurant enough.
