Classic bistro setting selling classic favorites: burgers, cheesesteaks, meatball subs. Spacious and stylish interior with a full bar, booth, and table seating.
I’ll commend them on the meatball sub. They avoided the critical mistake of putting too much bread into the equation and losing the flavor. This was a very meatball-forward experience with a beef and pork blended meatball, seasoned with Italian spices. Highly recommend!

The Farmers Rail Hudson is way better than the cuyahoga falls location. If you have been to the other you have to try the Hudson one. The food is so much better, the drinks are better, the service is better, and the atmosphere is better. The pork chop was excellent. It was acidic to help with the fatty cut and also beautifully cooked at a nice medium. I will say the chop did get closer to medium rare / rare near the bone though. So just be aware of that if that bothers you. The mushroom pasta was excellent with a nice blend of savory and sweet between the mushroom blend and cheese sauce. The drinks here are well balanced but still spirit forward. The service here was a little slow but it was also a packed house so that can be forgiven. Parking here can be rough depending on the day and time there is only street parking out front. But there is also a rear entrance if you find parking on the 2nd story of the parking garage at first & main. Farmer’s Rail is a must try in Hudson. It is pricy though excep $50 to $60 a person. But the restaurant at night is really nice it kind of had the look of an upscale cracker barrel. If you want a table there may be a wait during Friday and Saturday. It does become very busy. But the bar will usually have a few seats open with no wait and they do serve food at it as well.

One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. The mashed potatoes – asparagus combo went so well with the ribeye. Bourbon selection is top notch and the whiskey specials are a nice touch. If they have the carrot cake, get it. Don’t even think about it, just ask for a slice. It made the meal ten times better. If I am back in the area I will definitely stop back in.

We had such an incredible experience at Farmer’s Rail! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Moe, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — you can really tell he takes pride in what he does. Our server, Jayme, was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
The food was out of this world — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend Farmer’s Rail to anyone looking for great food, great people, and a great time!

Service was a bit slow but the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the apps were delicious. Definitely will be back again. Highly recommended as one of the best places in Hudson.

This is my 2nd time dining here and it won’t be my last! Last time I had the seasonal salad with chicken and absolutely loved it! This time I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with cauliflower fried rice and they knocked it put of the park once again. Greek Salad was incredibly fresh with a fantastic dressing however the French Onion Soup was disappointing-at least to our taste buds. While we can’t put our finger on what actual ingredient overpowered the soup, it was enough to send it back.
We were willing to pay for it but they actually took it off the bill! Service was solid and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Can’t wait to return and try something else!!!
