We are a family run veteran owned business here in the small town of Mifflinburg. Our dishes are fresh made to order and we only have 2 things on our menu that are frozen. Have gone 3 times this past week. Farmers wife 2x with different meat and eggs; great both times. Chipped beef; solid if that’s your thing. Server was friendly and kept my coffee hot and full. Was seated quickly and food came quickly; I was there pretty early in their hours.

Wait time for a table wasn’t bad… wait time to get drinks could be better.. wait time to get breakfast was WAAAAAAAY bad …. when food arrived it was lukewarm…
Server and owner were VERY friendly and helpful…. they tried their best to make everyone happy… for it being opened less than a week this is pretty good… I gave three stars bcus wait time plus food was lukewarm…

I had possibly the best burger of my life here. The service was very slow. 40 minutes for 2 burgers and fries. But I know it’s a new business, and the servers were friendly. Food was hot and delicious. Hopefully they get their kitchen snags worked out and wait times down. 5 stars because it was an overall good experience and the food is great!

We had breakfast 12/29 as a party of 8. They got a nice spot set up for us. The owner served us and was extremely friendly. We ordered pancake meals to split up for our kids, I got their big farmers special, and my wife got one of their sandwiches. The food came out hot and in huge portions. Unlike a lot of breakfast meats and potatoes you could tell these were good quality and hand prepared. We were super impressed with the taste and quality and the great service. We will be back!

The servers and staff were very kind and attentive. They explained while we were there that they would be under new management and owners soon.
Timing on the food coming out was… weird.
The amount and quality wasn’t worth the money, sadly. I think paid something like $63 for lunch and there is a service charge on any card payments which was a bit of a bummer.
When coming on Friday park closer to the front near the road, the ymca does good distribution next door and caused some parking lot constriction.

Walked in and despite hearing some mixed reviews, I decided to give it a shot. in hindsight I probably shouldn’t have. They were out of some things including the sandwich I ordered which is no big deal but disappointing. So I decided to simply get a grilled cheese. After it came out it wasn’t even hot. It was lukewarm and the cheese wasn’t melted all the way and was overall pretty bad. The fries were the only saving grace. The service could’ve been better with a different server. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone so far.

They’ve been open for about a week so I’m going to try and go easy. The wait was pretty bad, but I’m assuming he doesn’t have the help at the moment, so I’m not going to hold that against them. The pancakes were delicious. Everything else was a little bland, the sausage was good, ordered my bacon crispy and it wasn’t but still had good flavor. The ham was the size of a dinner portion. The “homefries” were just fried potato chunks, like fries. My partner ordered an egg and cheese sandwich with the eggs over hard, they were still a little runny. I think in time it will be a pretty good place to eat, owner just needs some time.

The wait for breakfast was way to long. Had to flag down a server to get more coffee, while we waited. When the good came, it was cold. The toast we ordered to be dark, wasn’t. The bacon we ordered to be crispy, wasn’t. We ordered small waters with our coffee and never received. When the bill came the server put our entire order on “a-la-cart” and it was double what the price should have been, glad we asked by the high price, they fixed it but never took off for the potatoes that we had taken off the order. It looks like the owner is running on very little cash flow as the lack of decor, used tables and chairs from prior restaurant and painting the walls without filling in the holes are apparent. Doubtful we’ll go back.

I fully understand a new business starting but, an owner (or said he was an owner) standing in an open dining room openly talking to other customers in a negative manner about employees is inexcusable. People act like that and have zero professionalism and wonder why they can’t find help??
The Cream dried beef looks like it comes right out of a pouch and the portions are small for the price.
I had considered having my teenage daughter get a job there but after that experience I would never even set foot back in the place or have her work there.
I was hopeful the place would be successful but no chance!
