It looks like a dinky little place from outside, but more roomy & cozy inside. Excellent cooks!!! Grits are not instant, cooked there. The pancakes would need a pizza box to take home, so big!, & very fluffy & flavorful. Down home kind of place, popular with locals. Only reason didn’t give it 5 starts is so people won’t expect very fancy surroundings. Clean & very friendly, accomodating & humorous staff.

Excellent breakfast! Country ham was perfect with real potatoes for hash browns. Refreshing after paying $6 for a half slice of thin, overcooked piece of country ham with bone being 1/3 of it at Cracker Barrel. Almost the total cost of my whole breakfast here.

Excellent, small town restaurant experience. Home-cooked meals, all made to order. My mushroom and swiss burger was large and tasty. The onion rings were huge. And the homemade cole slaw and potato salad sides were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We’ll certainly stop in again!

Nice, quaint, mom and pop cafe. Staff was very nice. Seems like they have many frequent customers as the staff knew many of them by name. My breakfast was great. I’ll definitely be back here.

Driving through town on our way to The Homestead – taking the scenic route. We stopped in for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Bacon, eggs, and French toast – absolutely delicious.

I came for breakfast 3days ago and was met outside by owner saying you can’t come in I aint got no cook. I’m closed. Today I gave another chance. The restaurant filled up. The owner came out and told customers that people sitting just talking taking up tables. They made everyone on edge because they were hurrying people to leave. My sausage and potatoes were burnt and I never got tefill on coffee or water. I’m never coming back. Owner is rude and always has scowl on her face.

The internet says the farmers daughter is open until 11, but they are not. Their sign says 10:30 but today was the second time we arrived few minutes before 10:30 and had to drive to Ihop for breakfast. We wont bother stopping there any more.
