The Farm restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the thumb. Everything is delicious, the service is great and we love having special dinners here. We came for New Year’s Eve and had their lobster special, their salmon, saganaki, white fish dip and a few other dishes. Everything was wonderful except the potatoes augratin which were just ok.

I didn’t really know what to expect when we pulled up. I figured a bardominium style building turned restaurant. Nope! It was a straight up old farm house. Lots of beautiful wood work, cool knick knacks that weren’t tacky, and just an overall great atmosphere! My fiancee is gluten free and they definitely cater to that! We both got Ribeye steaks. The quality of the meat was amazing and cooked to a perfect medium. The owner of the restaurant come to see how everything was and was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Port Austin, and dinner at The Farm was the perfect way to end our trip.

This was a cozy restaurant with delicious food! We had apps of fried deviled eggs & baked brie, entrées of filet & chicken, and desserts of creme brulee & double cherry cobbler — all of which were delectable!
It is on the pricier side, but the quality of the food is worth it.
If I’m in the area again, I will definitely be back!
Update:
brought a friend here, and everything was just as delicious! Baked brie, fried deviled eggs, amarcini(sp?) for apps; salmon, whitefish & chicken for entrees. Side note: the mustard sauce for the whitefish was So.Good. I ended up getting a side of it for my salmon!
It is still a pricey place to eat, but the quality is worth treating yourself!

The Farm House came highly recommend by family. This place was amazing. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The service was wonderful…not too much attention..just enough. We had fried green tomatoes appetizer, salads one with their celery vinaigrette and other with Michigan cherry dressing, another in our party opted for the onion soup which was also wonderful. Our entrees included the chicken, ribs, and meatballs. All were delicious!!! Two had desert, mixed berry cobbler and chocolate cake. This is very good upscale casual dining and we all agreed we would go back in a heartbeat!

I loved everything about this place. Ever changing menu with flavor!!! Chowder delicious, celeryseed vin Yum and Short rib was very tender and plated lovely. I will be back! Highly recommend. Don’t be cheap go for it!

My boyfriend and I had a great time at The Farm for my birthday dinner. It was cozy inside with twinkle lights and a very homey feel. The blue cheesecake was insanely good and nothing I’ve ever seen in another restaurant, red onion soup was amazing and flavorful and the braised beef tasted like a warm hug. The only downside was we were too full to try the desserts that also sounded amazing. This place is a gem. ❤️

All thumbs up for The Farm. The food was amazing. We had the smoked whitefish dip for an appetizer. Highly recommend this. Main dishes were the Forest Mushroom Chicken and the Baby Back Ribs. Both were excellent! Our server was great. She went above and beyond.

My wife and I came here for our first Anniversary. Best restaurant meal we’ve ever had and the best filet I’ve ever had. Everything was super top notch, from the bread and butter, to the soup, main course and the warm mixed berry cobbler was heavenly. Amazing waitress and an awesome time was had! Make sure you call ahead for a reservation because this place is popular

What a wonderful experience. The service was very good, the entrees were excellent. I had the braised beef, and my wife had the pork chop with the smoked whitefish appetizer and the fresh fruit cobbler for dessert. Highly recommend.
