Visiting town and wanted lunch. Walked in and looked around trying to find a lunch menu. Everyone stared at me as if they knew I was a stranger. I stepped up to the counter and the girl working looked up at me without saying anything. So I initiated the conversation by letting her know I had never been there before so I asked if i should sit or order at the counter. She was very dry and almost condescending in her reply.
After I stepped away to look at the menu, two women walked in and were greeted warmly. I thought to myself that maybe you just have to be a local to get friendly service. After being ignored for a few more minutes and feeling like I was in the way of everyone there I walked across the street to Jalapenos. MUCH better experience.
If you’re a local I’m sure this place is wonderful. But I would recommend a different place if you’re a visitor.

Fabulous coffees and hot drinks, homey atmosphere, great gifts, unless you decide to keep them yourself I can’t wait to try the lunch menu!! Well done ladies! Great addition to our town!
