The Fare Porter is a pleasant, homey, and modest burger bar that is far more experienced in feel than your standard burger joint. The owner prepares your food on the grill directly behind the counter and has created some incredible sauces and burger variations to some standard, and not so standard style burgers. Even the plain hamburger (not pictured) that our 3 year old scarfed down was absolutely juicy and well worth the price.
The fries were perfectly salted, and just enough crisp to remind you that these are hand cut and dipped, not made from a machine. The poutine fries were everything my high cholesterol didn’t need, but my heart and stomach longed for that day!
The wife and I absolutely loved the jalapeño aioli that was on my burger, and though she was pregnant and didn’t eat much at the time during our visit in July of 2022, she absolutely loved hers as well!
The server, whom seemed to be also helping the owner establish the restaurant a bit more, was preemptively refilling the whole families drinks, napkins and even swooning in for dessert. Sorry guys, we wanted to try the milkshakes, but the bakery’s flourless cake was set in my heart for that day’s venture. But definitely next time!
There’s not too many seats available inside, with the bar pictured in other peoples reviews. They do offer mixed drinks and such, but we passed. However, they did have outside seating which is a bit more intimate, and definitely worth the view for the food in the area.
If you’re in the area and looking to get a new place, or just want to check of restaurants, definitely start here for lunch! Or dinner, either way!
We will be back for more!

We’ve been anticipating the grand opening of The Fare Porter since the beginning of the year and it was so worth the wait! Perfect date night place in the heart of Haddonfield. The burgers we ordered (Triple B and Holy Shishito) were cooked perfectly with explosions of flavor wrapped up in soft decadent Japanese milk buns. The Danish blue cheese fries were absolutely delicious too, hand cut, fresh and served with utmost professionalism. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, attending to any need. We couldn’t resist the hand crafted milkshakes to-go especially after seeing several other customers order them. We watched in wonder as the milkshake baristas took careful attention to detail in their creations even toasting a marshmallow with just enough smoke for that unmistakable S’mores flavor. Irresistible and incredible!
Hands down our new favorite go-to burger and shake restaurant in Haddonfield!

Very little seating inside, but try to come on a nice warm day and sit outside. Good quality burgers, good quality fries/poutine, but the real winner here are the beautiful and tasty selection of milkshakes. I got the Nutella S’mores and was not disappointed. Recommended.

Stopped in on a whim as I passed by and I’m so glad I did. Just tried their basic cheeseburger with grilled onions, pickles and mustard on a potato bun and I’ve got to say, it’s one heckuva good burger. Lotta burger joints around but not that good for that price point; so if you like a classic smash burger and you’re in Haddonfield or not far from it, I suggest you stop in and try their food.

Dinner for two.. and smoking fast and fresh! I was barely there 10 minutes and got my order placed and burger within 5 minutes later.
They were ready for game time.
Up there with burger buff standards if you know, he always sells out.
Short rib poutine fries came seconds later and the cheese on them was a perfect cheese pull like a flash off perfect Chicago pizza.

Awesome comfort food. Simple menu – craft burgers, shakes and craft fries.
Our shakes, smoked Nutella s’more and red velvet, were awesome. Especially the smoked effect of the Nutella s’more was quite real, strong and had an addictive effect. Awesome. The garlic aioli fries were interesting too. We were also served a complementary virgin hibiscus Moscow mule. Very nice for comfort food. Take out is allowed as well.

Just got back from The Fare Porter. Ordered 2 different fries. Danish blue & truffle. Hot fresh and full of fresh flavor. Highly recommend either of these fries. You cannot go wrong.
Peppermint Oreo. The flavors all combine together for a nice minty Oreo cookie shake. Served w 2 mint Oreos and whipped cream.
Fare Porter burger & the Get Down burger.
Fare Porter is lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic aioli.
Get Down is a James brown classic (inspired bye) pulled pork, south Carolina mustard bbq sauce, coleslaw american cheese.
Unfortunately they were out of pickles. So pickle review coming soon.
I’ll be going back to try more fries. Shakes and burgers and pickle review coming soon.
Fresh, filling fun place to go.

Coming from a restaurant background, we almost never go to a new place within the first 3 months. We broke that rule tonight and are SO GLAD we did. We were blown away at how everything was absolutely perfect and delicious on their first day officially open!! That is just so remarkable and we give major kudos to Marcello and his team. Congrats on opening!! We can’t wait to come back.

So good! Was looking forward to a new burger place and never had a bad experience from Valente’s. I was so not disappointed. My mom who doesn’t even really like burgers said it was literally “the best burger I ever had”. She had The Get Down. I had the Nordique and my boyfriend had The Triple B plus we did the Danish Blue fries. Everything was super awesome especially for an opening night! So excited for this addition nearby!
