Second visit, another delicious lunch! We started with house made London fog and Chai, perfectly presented and hot. Both my hubby and I got bowls and the variety of flavors in them were excellent. The farro bowl had a variety of perfectly roasted veggies and a tasty sauce. Hubby’s couscous bowl was a little saucier than mine but still had a good mixture of veggies. We both added grilled chicken and it was well cooked and moist. Dill and mint on top added additional flavors to the dishes. The only atmosphere minus is that it’s on a busy corner so not the prettiest views out the window but they make up for it in internal decorations and service. We will be back and recommend it if you are coming through town. Hope to try breakfast next time!

We booked a table online with zero hassle and ended up having one of the best lunches ever at The Fainting Goat! From the moment we sat down, Katie made us feel like VIPs—she was friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Sammie also jumped in with flawless service, so we felt totally taken care of.

We kicked things off with the Beet & Chèvre Salad and the Fall Harvest Salad—both total showstoppers. Fresh, vibrant, A+ all the way. And the lemonade? Hands down the best lemonade I’ve ever had anywhere. If you go, promise me you’ll order it.

For mains, we tried the Peanut Bowl and the Gyro, and wow—flavors that totally surprised us in the best way. Everything felt unique, fresh, and memorable.

The inside vibe is cozy but stylish, with art and décor that are just as fun as the food. Honestly, it all added up to a 10/10 in food, atmosphere, and service. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in Winthrop. Big thanks to the team for such a perfect experience!

Stopped in today for breakfast and the food and service was incredible!! As a perfect recommendation from our server- We had the gluten free waffle, the harissa lamb hash, and the biscuits and gravy. My husband and I both agreed it was the best waffle we had ever had.

Had a lovely breakfast at the Fainting Goat on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We all like our beverages and dishes and we all had something different. The London Fog was amazing. I had the hash and really enjoyed it. Service was top notch and we thought the ambiance was really nice. Check it out!!

We love this restaurant. It is unfortunate they are not open for dinner. Maybe sometime in the future?

Nice to know: there is just one menu with breakfast and lunch. Breakfasts is available all day.

Service is excellent. Thank you Juan.

The restaurant has a comfortable interior great for brunch on a snowy winter day.

Good tea selection. Please warm the pot, put in the teabag, then add boiling water (for black tea). My tea water was lukewarm in the pot before adding a teabag, so never steeped or hot.

My partner’s avocado croast was great with a generous serving of arugula on top. Next time I’ll get that or just order home fries (yum!) with a couple of poached eggs. I would not order the Turkish eggs again because the warm eggs on the cold yogurt was an odd combination.

Recommended! We will return this trip or next.

Great place for a meal, reasonable prices, delicious food, and generous portions. Plenty of parking outside and lots of seating inside. The menu has a good variety of choices, and the homemade waffle fries are a must-try!

I have significant and complicated food allergies. The staff were so accommodating–especially Chef Sophia. I felt so appreciative of their attentiveness.

The food was phenomenal, portion sizes were generous, ingredients were high quality and very fresh, and the dining experience was lovely. Highly recommend!

I had been backpacking for several days through the cascades, and tired of “backpacker food”. I was craving a salad and a burger and The Fainting Goat perfected both: the strawberry and gorgonzola salad and classic burger!!! The burger was juicy and the aoili sauce….yum!!!! They also had sweet potato fries which are my favorite. I’m really glad the restaurant in town I had previously went to was closed so I could try out The Fainting Goat. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area!
