The Factory Bar is Richmond’s newest 21-and-over cocktail bar. We believe in fostering community and bringing people together. We believe in Richmond, its rich and diverse history and its bright future. The Factory Bar will be a place for our community to gather and celebrate our heritage. For neighbors to showcase local products, artwork and people. We will cater to our neighbors who appreciate a well-mixed cocktail and local beer in a comfortable atmosphere close to home.

It’s my favorite place in the neighborhood. A frequent hang out with Besties and very welcoming place to go where to feel right at home. This place has improved the neighborhood; the owners are very community minded and there’s a beautiful Bee garden. I am grateful this place survived the pandemic. There is a Taqueria next door with good food you can bring in or a that are also good. Oh! And dog friendly!

Great place and atmosphere with friendly staff. Nice neighborhood bar/lounge that has 3 rooms and a large outdoor patio so you easily find a table. I think sometimes they have live music.
They don’t serve food but let you bring it in and there’s a great Mexican place next door.
The only thing that keeps me from coming regularly is that parking is hard.

After work get-together with Coworkers to celebrate and chit chat about life, work, family, politics, etc. The atmosphere at the factory bar is cozy and vibrant with locals and visiting and enjoying life while sipping a beverage or eating some food. The staff are very friendly and attentive but very busy with all the drink orders and cleaning up. We hung out in the patio area which was nicely decorated and cozy with wooden benches, high tables and chairs, private event area, and music from the speakers around the perimeter of the area. Drinks are good but cocktails are a bit on the tiny side. Wish they were bigger. Their menu offers a variety of beers, cocktails, liquors and other beverages.
Parking is a bit of a challenge with the tiny parking lot and the street parking. There are spots to park, but you have to drive around the side streets to find it. Next door, you can get Mexican food from Tacos el Tucan or from the ice cream and waffle place next door.

Great custom cocktails on a changing menu. Nice ambiance and decor inside and outside. Enjoy beverages at the bar to watch the bartenders work their handywork, or check out the back room or “herb garden.” Bathroom is clean.

A fantastic local bar with solid cocktails. There are lots of fun spaces inside, including a really comfy lounge with leather chairs and boardgames. There’s also an expansive space outdoors in the back where you can relax while soaking in the sun.
The cocktails are well made and reasonably priced. The service is friendly. Best of all, you can bring in your tacos from El Tucan nextdoor and enjoy them with your drinks.

The vibe here is great. Cool decor inside and out and there is a lot of room for big and small groups. The beer selection is good and the specialty cocktails have interesting ingredients and are generally tasty but lack the “punch” that I expect in good cocktails. The ratios always seem slightly off. Overall, they are not bad but hope they can be more spirit forward! I appreciate that you can bring food here as well.

We were getting food at Tacos El Tucan next door and while waiting for our food, we decided to stop in. Vibe was chill with music playing. Different areas to seat and the patio area looks big. Best part was we were able to bring our food into the bar and hang out, although no outside drinks.
