In January 2025, Good City Brewing joined the Explorium family to form the Explorium Hospitality Group. Now named Explorium Wauwatosa, our newest brewpub is located in the heart of the Mayfair Collection. Atmosphere was great, food was good and staff were all kind. Service was relatively quick. French onion soup had too much bread but beer cheese soup and cheese curds were delicious! Disappointed that all dipping sauces cost extra ($1 for a small dipping sauce is high). Had many Gluten Free options and staff seemed very educated on Celiac needs.

Tim had the energy and the smile! He made the experience here very welcoming. I had the Fish Fry, and it was amazing!! Id recommended the house fries, curry fries, or chips!! *for the chef and your potato pancakes… id recommend maybe cooking em a little longer, get that crispy outside

Explorium Brewpub really delivers across the board. The beer lineup is well made and diverse, with something for every style preference. Everything we tried was clean, balanced, and clearly brewed with care.
The food was excellent, especially the pretzel. It’s big, warm, soft on the inside with a great crust, and the beer cheese that comes with it is outstanding. Easily one of the best brewpub pretzels around and an absolute must-order.
Burgers and other dishes were just as solid — flavorful, well portioned, and clearly thought out to pair with the beer rather than feel like an afterthought.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the beers. It works just as well for a casual meal as it does for meeting friends for a few rounds.
Overall, Explorium Brewpub is a place worth going out of your way for. Great beer, great food, and a standout pretzel that seals the deal.

Started with the reaper humus platter. Was very good. Included some veggies and flat bread. What I liked was that they served a good amount of humans so you were not rationing to have some for the last item. Had the Ruben. Asked what side I wanted and found a 3 dollar charge for it at the end. Also had their onion soup. It was very good with a beer flavor. I did enjoy it but it was a little oversalted. If I was making it I wouldn’t have that much salt but I did end up eating it all – then drank a lot of water. All in all, food was good, service excellent , but after tip my bill was $75, so for two that was a bit more than I expected for what we ate. There is outside seating.

Overall very disappointing. Food is over priced, very average. I had only two pieces of bacon on my BLAT. My wife had the teriyaki chicken bowl. That bowl looked and tasted worst than a frozen meal.
They need to drop all food prices minimum 30% and revamp their menu. Otherwise they will fail like the last two. Food was better as good city. We will not be back for food. They need to be way better for the location.
Also all our beers were poured with too much head.

Had a great experience last evening! Came in on a Friday evening without a reservation. It was crowded, but we were seated quickly. Tried some new menu items. Steak sandwich was delicious! Steak was very tender. My son had the mushroom Swiss patty melt, which was also very good. Our server Tim was very friendly & checked on us often.
