I frequent this place weekly…Thursday nights from 5 to 10pm they have live performance by Eric Perkins and Aleta Davis. It is the highlight of my week. The live music is engaging, the food is really good (especially the wings and flatbread pizza). There is usually line dancing and crowd participation.. most nights there is a live performer in different genres like country and blues.. the servers can be slow at times and you may have difficulty getting in your order. Just go to the bar and order everything. You get it much more quickly. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montgomery for the first time or for locals who want a relaxing, safe environment to enjoy drinks and have conversation.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, I was very impressed because the restaurant was clean and it has a nice ambiance. The service was very slow. Our server Adisha had little interaction with us, she didn’t ask us if we liked the food, and it took her forever to get our payment once she delivered the check. I think she has the potential to be good but customer service training is needed. My burger was cold and it wasn’t fully cooked She didn’t make a fuss about it, she took it off without a problem. Instead of paying $18 here for a cheeseburger and fries we should’ve just gone to Five Guys. Going out to eat is just not the same anymore.

The bar offers a nice atmosphere and the service is amazing. Had to take a star (and a half) because the drinks are good, but pricing is a bit high. It is a hotel bar in the downtown area, so I suppose it is to be expected.

We just went in after the Toto concert and ordered food to go. The lady that sat us told us that our server was also the bartender so we may have to wait. When the server didn’t come, the hostess brought our drinks and took our order and brought our food out. The flatbread was not great but the collard green dip was amazing.

It was very nice. The drinks are a little pricey for the amount of alcohol received. Fire pits was really nice on the cool night. Live music was good. Food was okay. Good place to sit and unwind for the day.

I’m adding a picture of our table. We are outside at The Exchange, Downtown Montgomery. Our table is empty. The tables around us have drinks, food, even menus! A server offered those things to them. We were never asked. The only reason we have a menu is because one of us got it. What were we going to do with it though? No one came to take our order. We’ve been sitting here 1 hour 15 minutes. I KNOW we’ve been seen. I forget how much I hate coming here until I come back. The service is always horrible. The drinks are mostly good and sometimes, the food. Tonight, we’ll never know. Our neighboring tables seem to be enjoying it though.

The exchange is very proud of their drink watering down policy. I’d say if ever there was an establishment that you should BYOB and NOT drink at, it’s the Unfair-Exchange.
