We stopped here for a late lunch, around 2pm. We ordered an avocado grilled cheese toastie, a side salad, one BLT sandwich, a gyros, and a raspberry cheesecake (last two are not in the pics, sorry). I particularly enjoyed the avocado grilled cheese toastie, as the bread was toasted to perfection and extremely tasty (I believe it was sourdough!), and the cheese was well-melt. I added Tobasco sauce on the inside and it took the toastie to another level!
The gyros was also tasty, but a bit small.
The raspberry cheesecake was amazing: the cream was light and fluffy and paired well with the fresh raspberries on top!

The atmosphere is relaxes, with many people chatting and quietly working on theor laptops. I really liked the green armchairs!

Definitely reccommend and will be back when in the area!

Very charming when you walk in! The staff is friendly and patient with first time guests. There was plenty of dining room space and a variety of self-seating options. Dog friendly, too! My breakfast was great, with the star being the Biscuits & Gravy! The mocha was perfect! I’ll be back and I highly recommend The Espresso Shop!

Removing the fact that this is counter service only, which isn’t as much fun or relaxing when you’re craving a relaxed breakfast, the overall vibe was friendly, welcoming and healthy. The portions are generous with healthy options available. Excellent coffee.

Omg!!! This place is so cute! Lots of seating, good prices, yummy food, coffee… but stay for the ambiance! It reminds me of something Chip and Joanna Gaines would design. Look at the cute tin tile ceiling! To die for. Stop in for breakfast or lunch… it’s a must

Can’t wait to return to North Platte and visit The Espresso Shop. The Espresso Shop is a lovely and spacious coffee cafe in downtown North Platte. What I love about this place is the perfectly medium espresso roast.

Here are the deets and what I tasted:

Roast: medium
Notes: toasty + a hint of mocha
Taste: a little crema, with no bitterness, acidity or aftertaste

While in town, I came almost daily . Their espresso can stand on its own but I love to dress mines up.

Here is what I ordered while in town for a couple of weeks:

vanilla oat milk latte 12 oz
blackberry + vanilla oat milk latte 16 oz
vanilla + rose oat milk latte 16 oz

I also ordered an avocado toast with hummus and fried egg which was super delicious.

I recommend a 12 oz to really enjoy the flavor of the espresso. As a city girl, I can appreciate a real deal coffee shop in a small town.

The owners and staff are lovely. You may have to wait in line because it is a local favorite, but they are professional and diligent to get your order taken and I highly recommend The Espresso Shop Coffee and can’t wait to return.

This place is a gem! Delicious espresso and sandwich. Lots of gluten free options. I did the veggie panini with gfree bread. I asked them if they could wrap the bread in foil or something to toast so they took precautions for cross contamination and reiterated it when they brought it out! The sandwich was more delicious than I expected. Everyone was super friendly and it was a lovely space. Highly recommend!!

Great food and service.
Mostly self service. Coffee pick up is on the right of the ordering counter. They bring the food to the table if you are dining in. Due to self service and pick up you can see a lot of people waiting for their order in the front.

Restrooms: Unisex, one on the left of the ordering counter and another in a corner of the big dining area.

Resources: There is a station for the water, silverware, and napkins underneath big sunset painting.

Service: The girl who took our order was very friendly. Other people were dead serious about their work without smiles on their face. Perhaps because it was a busy Friday morning for them.

Atmosphere: love the plants in the dining area.

A large, plant-filled space with plenty of seating and tasty beverages. We didn’t try their food, but it looked delicious. We were pleased with the varied menu options and creative seasonal drinks. They are also dog-friendly!

Excellent stop. Delicious food and coffee, great service. What could be better.

Big crowd but efficient service. Very much enjoyed the Noel’s Toast. Fresh and tasty. I order full and saved half for later. Great oat latte. This is the place.

The decor is really nice with a spacious dining area. There is a lot of light from the large windows. The outside area is also quite spacious. The vegan options are not plentiful, but I modified the veggie panini to omit the cheese and cream cheese.
