The Envision Bistro is grounded in the mission and founding principles of NICHE. Our mission is to celebrate and enhance our culinary landscape. Wichita and Kansas have unique authentic traditions that can’t be found elsewhere. The culinary traditions brought by groups such as Volga Germans, Mennonites, Lebanese and Vietnamese, and how these cuisines adapted to common ingredients of Kansas, have created something special here that is worth celebrating. Through our founding principles of sustainability, accessibility and innovation, we incorporate local and seasonal ingredients founded in our local traditions to imagine new creative dishes.

My wife and I went in for lunch on Feb. 4. We were greeted by a friendly house manager. We ordered our good and the manager thought it was taking too long so he brought us out done fries and dips. Our food was great but the dessert (banana caramel cheesecake) was out of this world. We loved that we could see and thank the chefs thru the big windows. We definitely will come back and bring friends.

Walked there from the convention center and was thoroughly surprised at the quality of this restaurant! It is bright, open, and had an incredible menu. I had the Thai noodles with chili crisp and a crispy egg, and it was delicious. Their ice cream dessert was also fantastic! See photos for food & description.
Ordering is done via Toast online or through a kiosk up front. Food is brought out and put on a counter, then you are texted when it is ready. The best part is seeing the open kitchen and hearing the student chefs call out orders and see them make your food. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick delicious lunch!

Love this restaurant! I regularly visit and have lunch and work from their spacious seating. I think I’ve had about 50% or more of the menu and I’ve loved everything so far. Top pick are the Autumn Harvest Salad & the special pasta (don’t forget to add an egg!). And the french fries…damn, they are good. Casual and friendly. Chef’s routinely come out to check on service and satisfaction. Knowing I’m helping the students gain real life working experience in a kitchen is pretty cool, too.

Absolutely incredible lunch spot! The Envision Bistro is truly an amazing addition to downtown Wichita! This is supporting WSU Tech culinary students and getting them experience and it’s so impressive to watch them work together in the kitchen! It’s fast, delicious, and has awesome atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating for big groups, you ordered yourself through app or self service, and you get a notification when your order is ready to come pick up at the pick-up desk. Highly recommend the strawberry ice cream! So refreshing and the best I’ve ever had! I always order it for dessert, IT IS A MUST. I loved the crispy fries with the chicken sandwich and the homemade chips! 10/10!

It was hard to pick something from the menu because everything sounded so good. The tacos were excellent and the Mediterranean tomato soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. I’m excited to try the rest of the menu!

Really good food at a really good price. The smash burger I got was fantastic. The funky sauce on it had a little more funk than I prefer, but everyone has their own taste.
