We tried the chicken bacon ranch loaded fries, patty melt, texas burger, double smash burger, birria tacos, honey cornbread, and macaroni salad. All of it was so delicious and flavorful! Best cheeseburger we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back! Chad (one of the owners) was so friendly and chatted with us about how they got started. Definitely great service with delicious food!

We came here after asking a friend where we could get bomb Mexican food. We are used to some really good tasting food and haven’t been too impressed yet since moving here from out west. When I saw the photos online I was immediately excited. We met Chad who was enthusiastic and very helpful to customize a couple things for us then treated us to a bonus creamy Ramen. The food was DELICIOUS!! So flavorful, so freaking good!! We will absolutely be back. 10 stars!!

I’ve been wanting to try this food truck… today was the day! The guys were super friendly and… they can cook! I had the steak teriyaki with rice, macaroni salad and street corn. Everything was delicious and really a great blend of flavor and texture. I’m now going to be a regular!

Everything was wonderful — the food, service, and atmosphere were all great. I recently had gastric sleeve surgery, and the staff went out of their way to help accommodate me. They were very kind and understanding, which meant a lot. I truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be returning.

I’ve tried damn near every birria taco in the Terre Haute area, and this is the only place that brings the flavor. If you’re looking for a lot of good grub for reasonable prices… this is your place.
They’re a food truck but they do have outdoors seating (park bench) in front of their spot. They were super kind and brought our food out to our truck in the rain. Very personable, very friendly, definitely will be back in the very near future.

I went here on a whim after seeing it in the grease Monkey Parking lot on my break and the food is well worth it. A bit more expensive but ever since the loaded fries I’ve kept coming. I’ve tried almost everything, loaded fries run about 15 and are well worth it. Teryaki plate is a bit more expensive but still a delightful savory plate that I think is well worth it.

I don’t know which is better the food or the customer service! The seasoning on the food is top notch. I also love how the owner Chad is so passionate about his food he’s not afraid to let you sample it before you buy it. Finally checked out The Empty Plate today. I got the Teriyaki Plate and my wife got the Birria Tacos. First off the portion on the teriyaki plate was huge! I couldn’t believe how much comes with it. The chicken was really good and was prepared well, not just doused in sauce like some places. I didn’t get a chance to try the tacos but my wife loved them. We’ll definitely be back.

Are you hungry and want a meal for your buck, stop on by the Empty Plate parked at the Grease Monkey parking lot in between Wabash avenue and 25th Street and Terre Haute, Indiana. Try their tacos with their special dipping sauce. It is amazing!
