The Empty Pint is the taproom at our state-of-the-art production brewery in Lakewood, New York. Since our founding in the early 2000s, The Empty Pint has poured fresh beers and served as the launching point for Saturday brewery tours. Our expansive outdoor beer garden is open seasonally. Located above gleaming steel vessels, The Brewhouse Tasting Room is open to the public on Saturdays (serving beer flights) and is the endpoint of our Saturday tours. Featuring gorgeous views of the brewhouse and picturesque woodlands, the Brewhouse Tasting Room also offers visitors a small gift shop and growlers to go.

One of my favorite breweries to visit here in the Jamestown area. The food selection and quality is excellent but the bag of chips for a side doesn’t quite get it for me. Hopefully they’ll bring back the original Warlock beer soon, it was my favorite.

The Empty Pint at Southern Tier Brewing proved to be a fantastic stop for a casual meal. Despite a limited menu, both the chicken sandwich and the burger were expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, offering a unique view of the brewery’s beer tanks right through the windows. The service staff was attentive and efficient, enhancing the overall experience. During the summer, its proximity to the adjacent patio and stage makes it a prime spot for enjoying frequent live music.

I was surprised to find that The Empty Pint and the Southern Tier tasting room are actually the same place. The brews are all excellent. I am not a stout fan, but loved theirs. They had a nice dry red wine too. Very friendly host. I did not notice if they had food.

Food choices are pretty minimal. We got the nachos. Over half the chips were not edible they tasted and ate like plastic. I’m not sure if they were under cooked or what. The meat was so dry it looked more like jerky. Def will not be eating here again. Beer was good they outside area is great with good band. Def a whole lot of kids running around felt more like a daycare then a brewery special since not a one parent was actually supervising, at one point while walking around had to avoid a landscaping rock that was being winged at random (several rock throwers). The stones course is pretty neat and would be fun to try!

Amazing beer and food. Best pumpkin beers ever not overdone with pumpkin. The sweet 16 hazy IPA was super and the porter was super smooth. Everything was good, wish I would have had more time and not been driving where I could have sampled them all. I will have to go back!

On top of having an excellent seasonal rotation of some of the finest beers, the atmosphere and location are among my favorite, especially after a day at the (nearby Chautauqua) lake or a hike through the local forests.
Plentiful pub space in the winter is even better in the summer, when the grounds are a buzz among the many tables. If you’re lucky there’s an incredible band on the outdoor stage.
I always appreciate that I’m able to bring the pups along and they are comfortable and welcomed. The food menu also has something for everyone, including vegetarian options. Don’t skip getting “the Beautiful Mess” – a staple appetizer u like any other nacho plate around!

Excellent food and great on site brewed beers. Prices were reasonable. Very nice establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. There was a band playing out in the amphitheater. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for get togethers, parties or just having a couple drinks and dinner. Located behind southern tier brewing company.

Very cool brewery. Great beer and the beer garden “Rocks”. Seriously the live music hasn’t disappointed us yet. They have a nice selection of Southern Tier Brewing co Swag ( Hats, shirts, Mugs, etc).

A group of us visited Southern Tier last weekend, after first hiking through nearby Panama Rocks. We drove from Northeast Ohio. STBC is an excellent facility. We enjoyed the outdoor backyard that is set up with picnic tables for a nice open, community atmosphere. Obviously they have a fantastic lineup of beers on tap, both in the downstairs main bar area, as well as the upstairs tasting room. Staff was very polite. Very good food options as well. Will definitely return to Southern Tier.
