Wanted to try something new with my family and we came here. Its beautiful inside and they were very quick to get you seated. They had a lot of options to choose from. Food was very good and left me satisfied and full for the rest of the day. Definitely will be coming back!

AMAZING FOOD AND STAFF!!!

Our party arrived at 9:30am and were the first guests to arrive for the new year. The place really gets hopping around 11am.

We were immediately tended to and surrounded by staff offering a variety of dim sum options from their carts.

The staff is very attentive and treat you like family not just a customer.

I can’t say enough about the variety of dim sum options. Everything we ordered from the siu mai to the roast duck was delicious.

Will 100% return!!

I was craving beef chow fun—I ordered the beef and vege chow fun from Empress on DoorDash What arrived was quite clearly a soup and doesn’t match the pictures at all (pictured). Confused, I called and was told all the “chow fun” dishes on the menu (there are several) are like this— they’re actually soups with rice noodles. If you want actual chow fun you have to order the “beef flat rice noodles”. Super confused and disappointed. I asked them to check and change the photos on doordash. posting so others are aware.

Other dim sum items were fine- a bit soggy but pretty much expected for delivered steamed food.

This is an amazing, no frills, restuarant serving authentic dim sum at extremely affordable prices. Most options are around $5 per serving, which is great if you’re going by yourself or with a group.

I regret not being able to go during push cart service time. That would have completed the experience.

I ordered steam BBQ pork bun, pork shumai, shrimp and chive dim sum, and shrimp steamed rice roll.

My favorite of the 4 I got – was the pork shumai. It was perfectly seasoned and had a nice bounce to it.

If you want to elevate your experience- add some of the chili oil to your dim sum.

The Empress is great! I love the food — it’s always consistent, delicious, and the spacing between tables is perfect, especially with the food carts moving around. However, the service can be a bit hit or miss. The hostess, in particular, can be frustrating when they’re busy. I understand they have a lot going on, but there have been times we’ve left feeling like we didn’t want to come back because of the way we were treated.

Because of this, I’m giving it 4 stars — the food truly deserves 5, but the service brings the experience down a bit. That said, I’ll still come back and would recommend it to others. Just go for the great food and don’t expect superstar service every time.

Ordered yushang scallop and received 5 scallops the rest was veggies 28+ for a plate full of veggies is not ok. The food was tasty but the portions are waaaayyyy too small for what they are charging.

Our family’s go to spot for dim sum in Denver and family dinners. The dim
Sum is our favorite cart dim sum. The dim sum is fresh and tastes good and there’s usually little wait since the seating area and parking are both spacious. Obviously not as many dishes as in SF or NYC spots, but good for Denver. The same can be said for the menu dishes. Solid meals and an our go to for traditional Cantonese food.

The drunken noodles were delicious The staff was friendly and very attentive. I feel like the prices were super reasonable too. We got wayyy too much food for 2 people, probably 2 meals worth with lots of leftovers (i got drunken noodles, he got mango chicken, and we shared a scallion pancake, fried pork buns, and baked pork buns) and the total was only like $50!

Ah I always crave a good Cantonese Style dinner and this meal was delicious!

We ordered all our favorite go to dishes: Ginger Scallion Crab, Green Beans with Pork, Roast Duck, Cantonese Style Chow Mein, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and Potstickers!

I enjoyed the Green Beans dish. I was so excited to see chung choy in it, which added to the flavor profile. The combination Chow Mein was perfectly crispy with plentiful amounts of tender meat and veggies. Ginger Scallion Crab and Shrimp with Lobster sauce was what we expected and executed well.

Some of the end pieces of duck were a bit salty but overall was very good. I’d love to try the Peking Duck next time with the buns and the crispy roast pork.

I felt the cost of the food was very reasonable with the amount of food given.

I love the fact that you can order dim sum at any time. But makes it hard to choose what to order because everything sounds good.

The servers were so nice and had very fun personalities, always with a smile on their faces. They made our meal really enjoyable and did a fairly good job keeping our water cups filled.

The restaurant was spacious and appeared tidy. We went there on a Saturday night and there were people setting up for likely a wedding event. I’m sure Empress is a place where many Asians have their reception meals and events.

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and was happy to see that they had their own parking lot.

We were only visiting, but we’ll definitely be back to try more items in the future and would recommend others to give it a try!

Good dim sum food. Make sure you come during dim sum hours. Otherwise the salt and pepper pork is amazing. I’m also a big fan of the pan fried noodles. They do it right here!
