Stopped in for a snack while walking on the square. Perfect ambience and the service was so personal and warm. Exactly the southern hospitality I’d expect from Fredericksburg. We had an Espresso Martini and a New York Sour. The espresso martini rivals those of some of the nicest restaurants in Dallas, HIGHLY recommend!!! The meatball sub and burrata flatbread were lighter than you’d expect which was exactly what we were looking for. Cannot recommend this place more for a quick little lunch. Dylan (or Dillan?) was absolutely spectacular so I’d love to give him a mention as he made our whole experience wonderful and gave great recommendations. Also this portrait of the bull is the best part of the bistro and should be featured more in these reviews.

I had breakfast with my family here for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. Our server was Thea. She was fantastic. Food and coffee was great. Service was on point. But atmosphere is horrible. Overheard the chef yelling at the server, Very disrespectful. Our server push through the crowd taking orders sobbing with a full house. Hoping the situation will get dealt with. It is a Great place after all.

great place..super food well prepared by a great chef but it is totally unfair to strap him with no staff or backup…he has to bring in people from the front desk and they are poor help at best. Don’t loose your chef because you over burden him.

New restaurant in the new Emigrant Hotel. They have a good selection for breakfast and lunch.They have French Crepes. Also have espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, latte, and chai drink options. There is a small bites menu at the downstairs bar after 5 p.m., but I haven’t tried those yet, but the bar is amazing.
