Had the fish dinner with pierogi and mac and cheese. Also got a pizza to go. The fish and Mac and cheese were excellent (best fish I’ve had in a long time). Pierogi was good, onions could have been cooked a little longer. Pizza was excellent as always.

I ordered for takeout. I got a 9 piece broasted chicken dinner, it comes with broasted potatoes, Coleslaw, and bread and butter. The entire meal was fantastic!!!!! Chicken was crispy as ever, and juicy. Plenty of coleslaw and 6 pieces of Italian bread. I have been going to the elmton for over 50 years, it’s still is the I also liked that the chicken came in a box, instead of a bucket. Great job as usual…

Just had a 16 sausage pizza brought home and it was horrible. I’ve been eating here since 1972 and I’ve had a couple of bad pizzas from here but they were eatable. It’s 245 in the afternoon and this pizza was just reheated and dried out. My better half picked it up without looking at it first, that is a must! It was actually cold to eat and I live five miles away. Will this bad experience stop me from eating there, no but you have to be cautious on take outs. But the guys doing my driveway now want more money to shovel the snow. Once again always bit always check the pizza before you pay for it!!!!

First time here, just did a take out pizza so can’t speak for the atmosphere. But they do have a separate entrance for take out. It is well marked and a nice feature. As for the pizza, everyone in my family commented that it was doughy and seemed undercooked. Wasn’t the pie I was expecting after hearing people rave about this place for years. Doubt I’ll go back, there are better pizza’s in the area. Maybe this was a one off Friday night, they were very busy with it being Lent and all.
UPDATE: Stopped in for a lunch sized pizza one day recently and service was excellent and so was the pizza. So I’m giving them an additional star. Happy that possibly my first visit was an off day.

First of all, welcome to historic and homey! This place is our go to for some awesome pizza!!! They have a great selection of food and beers. The atmosphere, side conversations, and of course on the bartenders, MAGGIE, are absolutely something to experience. One app recommendation would be the hot pepper cheese balls! Also the pizza sauce is made with green peppers, so be prepared for flavor. This place is ALSO from 1945. So stop, love it, come back.

Pizza is unbeatable. You can’t go wrong with even plain cheese & wings. The wings are huge & moist & crispy. The value for your money is well worth it compared to other local shops and def smokes any pizza chain.

Went to the Youngstown State football game. They scored 31 points or more. You get a free 8 inch pizza with purchase of 12 they counted Wednesday as being the last day even though they’re closed Sunday and Monday and the tickets were supposed to be good for five days. I will never eat there again and I am from Struthers and it has always been the best pizza.
