This is another big winner!!! Everything was very good. Very tasty. Very fresh. Very nutritious. And very friendly. The music was even perfect – nice mix of 70s hits. So good you wanted to sing along! We had the Asian Salad with seared Ahi tuna added, because I it was no longer on the menu. So very good. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak with the beer cheese. Highly recommended change-up. Even my mixed drink, their take on an old fashioned, The Elm, had me looking up Knob Hill Smoked Maple Bourbon on the internet to purchase. So we had to try a dessert. Doesn’t the carrot cake look so good???

Wow! The atmosphere inside and out was beautiful. Our waitress was amazing, the food was delicious, and our specialty drinks were beyond our expectations. Definitely a must stop when in Van Wert! We also had the pretzel appetizer and cheese dip, and it was phenomenal! Portion sizes are huge.

Worst food I’ve had in a long time at a place like this. Cowboy burger was freezer burnt pulled pork mush with a soggy bun. Onion rings… some were burnt to a crisp, others were still frozen in the middle. Bartender could care less as she rushed me. She asked what I wanted to eat 2 times before she even brought me a beer I ordered. Felt rushed and she didn’t even care I asked for the check after taking 2 bites out of my burger. Whole place to include the floor was vibrating the whole time from the HVAC. Decent beer selection tho. Would not recommend.

What a charming place! We have been visiting my father in law in Van Wert for many years and never has their been something like this. We sat outside and felt like we were in Europe! Lol.
Food was excellent (the tots are a must try). Great beer and wine selection.

Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been exceptional. Might I recommend the giant pretzel and/or the Flatbread pizza? Their draft beer selection is fairy good too.

We had reservations at 6:15. We arrived at 6:05 and was promptly seated. A waitress greeted us and took our drink order within 5 minutes, delivered our drinks within 5 minutes and took our orders for 2 people. Our appetizer arrived within 15 minutes. Unfortunately after that we had to ask twice where our meal was and was told they were busy and we came at a bad time. Finally at 7:10 our food came. We purposely made the reservations because we had tickets for an event at 7:30. This is definitely poor kitchen management. If we would have known upon arrival that they couldn’t serve us in a timely manner we wouldn’t have stayed. We weren’t the only guests that experienced this unacceptable delay of food service; others had to get their food to go and never even got to eat it. The final straw was when the waitress shared they didn’t have enough staff! If they don’t have sufficient staff then they shouldn’t seat people or accept reservations. Our waitress was kind however shouldn’t be put in the position to handle this poor service resulting from poor management—we never even saw a manager!

There was a comedy show in town. We decided to go here. We got there 1 1/2 hours before the show. Waited 45 minutes to get a seat when we were told 20 minutes. Extremely understaffed for a Thursday night. Appetizers were good, didn’t get main courses because we had to leave and our order tickets weren’t even made. Bad experience.

Really nice outside patio area. Was there for a charity event. The event had several Flatbread type pizzas as appetizers. They were very good but some different topping combos. They also had pretzel bites that were very good. I ordered the steak bites and that was by far my favorite. They were cooked to perfection. Super tender, juicy and full of flavor. If I lived closer I would try to eat there.

We spent last evening on the patio welcoming home an old classmate from the Lincolnview Class of 1971. We had not seen Lee in over 40 years. It was a beautiful evening. Shout out to our waitress, I believe her name was Diana, she was absolutely amazing. She took care of us the entire evening, and was so friendly. The food, as usual, was delicious!! Van Wert is so lucky to have such a wonderful place to dine, have a cocktail or just have a great get-together with old friends!! Thanks to you all!
