Really nice diner-style place to eat. Very clean and neat with nice people working there and dining there. We had the BLT on sourdough and a grilled cheese. Both were excellent. For sides we had fry’s and they were home-mazing! That’s home made & amazing.

It was okay, it wasn’t spectacular. I was hoping it would be as good as truckstop food, but it didn’t taste as good as a truckstop would. They didn’t have a lot of choices. They did have breakfast all day, eggs, bacon biscuits and gravy, and that in itself would be what I would come back for. If you like down home cafe type places, (which I do) this place is for you. Prices were decent. They have a large dining area, which is pretty quiet for as roomy as it is. Not a lot of dishes clattering or silver ware noises.

Hours said Open 7-2. Sign on the door said Saturday hours, 7-2. We drove 90 minutes at the recommendation of a friend, arrived at 1:10 and the place was closed. An employee came out and said, “we got permission from the owner to close early”.
Make sure you call this place before you go, just in case they feel like closing early that day.

I was driving through town and decided to grab lunch to go on my way back to Indianapolis. Experienced started off with a phone call from the restaurant explaining how the menu pricing was not correct which I was completely OK with because I was in a hurry. I get inside and greeted immediately. My food was hot fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. I got the double fish and fries. The fries are fresh steak cut style fries, and tasted very good. I will definitely recommend this place to eat at if you’re ever passing through the area or live in the area.

Food was yummy, atmosphere was cozy, and service was good. I enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. My baked potato was a little hard in some places, but to be fair, that’s hard to check for before serving.

Food was great and so was the service. I got eggs and sausage which were great and a cinnamon roll waffle which was yummy but to much icing for me but if you love SWEET then it’s perfect. I’m gonna try the red velvet French toast next time. They have some very unique offerings and the PIES they offer…delicious. wonderful local place…..go eat local you’ll be happy you did

You can tell the food and the interior were slapped together with little thought or effort. Service was mediocre. Grumpy ladies shouldnt be waitresses that have to be the face of the restaurant. Just because you was nice at my table doesnt mean i didnt hear you being rude to your cook, hell, that’s probably why the food sucked, cause they didnt think she deserved a tip.

My mom and I stopped here for lunch on the way to the Coffin House and found the food and staff to be fantastic. I had the hamburger and my Mom had the Reuben sandwich. Both were excellent. Would highly recommend if in the area.
