When we need a night out and want stay away from the city atmosphere, we choose Eastwood Inn. Every time we dine here, we get great service and the food prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is classy, vintage, woodsy and best of all, low key. Prices are reasonable although seem high at first. But I am not going to a chain restaurant for a reason. I get better food and service at Eastwood versus a chain establishment and I am ok with prices as long as the food keeps the same quality and my service stays the same.
Year after year, we find ourselves at Eastwood Inn as our top choice for dining.

It saddens me to write this and I do hope to update with a more positive review in the future. My husband and I had been here for drinks before and could not wait to try the food. I had the lamb it was very good, house made salad dressing is fantastic and the French onion soup was full of caramelized onions with gooey cheese. The mixed drinks and beer are cold and refreshing. My husband’s petite steak was drab, had no seasoning, his loaded baked potato had no load. It was completely bare aside from the ramekin of sour cream. Our friend’s steak (possibly a Tbone) was the same no flavor & lacking seasoning, both were cooked perfectly though. The onion rings were very thin in a good way and super crispy but again no flavor. No passion in the food, service was great though and ambiance is spectacular for a speak easy.

We had cocktails and salads for a yummy dinner. The cocktails were perfect! It’s a nice, old fashioned bar and restaurant that we really enjoyed. There are plenty of great food options on the menu. The history is really neat as well.

It’s all about the ambiance. A real old timey American steakhouse like back in the day. Boomers will remember their youth … in a good way. Our maple-bourbon salmon was good, but not awesome. Salad and baked potato fine. Bread was thick sliced white, served room temp. Chocolate cake tasty, very mainstream. Hubby’s old fashioned a bit weak. Service great. Would go back. Maybe try steak next time and stick to wine or neat whiskey. Bourbon selection not truly “top shelf” according to hubby, but he collects bourbon so he’s super snobby about it.

Homemade bread was very good with very large slices. We had ribeye and T-bone steaks. The steaks were very large and thick with little salt or seasoning added, probably on purpose since you can simply add to taste. The steaks were also a little underdone, again, probably on purpose since you can send it back and have it cooked a little longer. Our server Cindy was friendly & attentive. The restaurant is an older building with a lot of charm. The menu is quite extensive with many options.
Make reservations, at least on the weekends because it was quite busy while we were there.

my birthday. The atmosphere took a hit when I saw all clutter on the front porch and when I didn’t need to use the buzzer to get in. The door was ajar.
We were greeted from across the room with “Yeah. Can I help you?” We were told to “come up here” with the wave of an arm. The team member went to the bar, looked at the reservations to confirm my name and then, from no where near me, pointed across the room and said simply “over there”.
The onion rings, sea bass and fillet were very good. Salads were pedestrian and the French onion soup base lacked any flavor. My biggest disappointment was that the bread was cold when served. Not room temperature but cold to the touch.
The Manhattans were fantastic.

We had a reservation, which I recommend. Tell the server if you have never been there. They are full of history information. We had delicious melt in your mouth filet. Talked to bartender who was also a wealth of information regarding history. Be sure to sign the guest book. Parking is a premium so I suggest going early. Loved it can’t wait to go back.

This is an old establishment dating back to prohibition and if what I am told is accurate was a speakeasy. There is a large porch for outside dining, and the inside is reminiscent of an exclusive club. Gentlemen do not wear shorts while dining here. We started with onion rings, and they are really good. I mean to say better than a standard order of onion rings, they are served with ketchup. The salad was also delicious, a simple wedge salad with house raspberry vinaigrette, carrot, grape tomatoes, thin sliced cucumber, and really good blue cheese. My wife had the spinach salad and said it was outstanding. My entree was a bone in ribeye, which was cooked to order and very good. My wife chose the pork chop, which was well over an inch thick and she said it was super. We opted out on dessert as we were stuffed full by then. This is not an inexpensive night out, but if you are having an occasion, I do recommend.

Memories of eating here over a decade ago held true with a fantastic meal. Enter curved door breezeway and send some electrons to a mystery person who remotely unlocks the inner door. A large fireplace and sitting room great you. A knowledgeable “more than bartender” will give you thoughts on the best beverage to go with your meal. I throughly enjoyed the Portobello ravioli with stroganoff sauce. Each bite was savored and the addition of fillet tips completed the dish. The Vina Robles Cabernet Sauvignon paired very well with both my dish and my wife’s filet. After finishing our meals we sat by the fire before heading home.
