Everything we tried was just fantastic! The Cali Bowl was our favorite. The house potatoes were done so well—perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a savory seasoning that made them a highlight on their own. The combination of a perfectly fried egg with the creamy avocado and crispy bacon was a total winner! It was a fresh, delicious, and satisfying dish that we’d order again in a heartbeat.

Came here for breakfast and wow! Our server, food, coffee was excellent. I had the salmon toast and it was flavorful with perfectly cooked eggs. Our server turned on the porch heater for the patrons outside so it was nice and toasty. Perfect start to a lovely morning.

Don’t you hate it when you go to spread your butter on your bread but it’s frozen and you can’t spread it? Well so does The Early Bird because they actually take the time to make sure your genuine butter is spreadable. Nice touch!
Don’t you hate it when you don’t know whether to leave your dishes at the table or take them to the bussing station? So does The Early Bird, because they told us before we even had to ask (you can just leave them at your table and they’ll take care of it).
There were about a hundred other things The Early Bird did to perfection, the way well-run restaurants with well-trained staffs do, starting with the unique and delicious menu offerings. They are no ordinary restaurant, content to serve average fare. The Early Bird is far above average. Even the coffee is well above average, rich and flavorful. Get there early when the patio isn’t open or you’ll be waiting for a seat!

They serve “Benny Bowls” and other bowl type breakfasts and it is quite original and quite delicious. You order at a counter, get a number, and they bring the food to you. Indoors and outdoor seating, a tad noisy inside. They also serve REAL fresh squeezed orange juice which is such a rarity at restaurants in the USA. We would definitely eat here again.

Breakfast charcuterie?! How cute! The menu is creative and exciting! The food was delicious, flavorful, and portioned well. The special coffee for June was a strawberry marscapone and I’m glad I took the risk to try it. Inside has limited seating but there’s a lovely patio as well. Service was so kind and ordering was easy. I got the three piggies savory waffle and my partner got the breakfast poutine with green salsa, yummm. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Was dropping my daughter off for winter quarter and we decided to go grab brunch. We don’t know much about Ellensburg still, so we just picked based on a quick Google search.
The menu was perfect. There are a dozen other items that sounded and looked great.
Everything was just perfect! Highly recommend!!! We were able to get in no problem, but I’ve heard the weekends can be very busy.
We ordered 2x chicken and waffles (1 with the honey Sriracha ) and 1 regular which is phenomenal as well, plus a brown butter Nutella mocha.

Stopped here with a group of friends on Sunday morning. The restaurant was very busy given it was memorial weekend and the first show of the year at the gorge, but the staff did well handling the crowd, taking orders, and checking on customers. You have to grab a table before placing your order at the counter. We ordered the chicken and waffles, Asian salad, kale salad, mimosa flight, and cold brew. Everything tasted great and prices weren’t bad. The waiter serving outside was kind and attentive to our needs. They had heaters outside and provided blankets as well which was nice. Will definitely stop by here again when I’m in the area.
