Best little place ever. My husband took me there for the first time and the chicken fried steak was out of this world. Taste was wonderful and soooooo tender. The rolls were homemade with homemade butter. I got the smaller than small dinner and still took home leftovers. Customer service is great well worth the drive.

Hubby and I had the cheeseburger, it was so good. Infact so good I didn’t even get a picture. Great place to eat. Also the people are so friendly. Definitely worth the stop. They are also famous for there chicken fried steak. I’ve had it as well and its delicious.

Excellent food. We shared the chicken fried steak. It came with mashed potatoes, salad, homemade rolls, and of course that wonderful bread pudding. So good!!! We enjoyed the meal in honor of my Dad (Paul Swift) who is affectionately known as the ghost of breakfast past!

Best chicken fried steak! Huge portions and excellent prices! You get salad or soup, scone rolls w/butter & jam, choice of potato, choice on gravy, homemade apple sauce is sliced and awesome! Comes with bread pudding for dessert! Even the extra small steak is huge! Love this place and they even have live music on occasion! Worth the drive to Dietrich Idaho!

Portions are huge, biscuits are amazing , homemade ranch was on point, however I didn’t get half the stuff that came with my meal, small chicken fried steak, thought it was odd it came with a brown gravy I’ve only had fried steak with country gravy. We also ordered homemade apple pie and it came out almost frozen. Overall good food, good price and amazing service.

Simple but charming establishment. You can tell the owner is an artist by the cute decor. Colander lights, paintings and whimsy everywhere. There’s nothing whimsical about the food here… pure down home comfort food like grandma used to make. I definitely recommend getting off the highway, going for a little drive and eating here! Chicken fried steak, chicken fingers, steak fingers, hamburger steak, hamburgers, breakfasts, salads, homemade pies, are just a few menu items i saw served that looked very yummy! They also have draft beer, and a good selection of other beer and wine. Definitely will go back.

Wow, this place is fantastic and worth the drive. Come hungry because they feed you big portions. I ordered the “small” chicken fried steak and it practically covered the whole plate! If I could give it 6 stars i would. It’s that good.
