A hidden gem, go early to have your choice of seats (the four cosy corners are the first to go). Beautiful pub setting with mellow motown music, chilled atmosphere with subdued lighting and a few early Christmas decorations. Be prepared for a long wait as it appears to be cooked to order. I ordered the khao soi chicken and noodles in a shrimp paste. Plenty of delicious coconut sauce and lime, mixture of crispy and soft noodles, optional chilli sauce. Lovely lunch, long wait.

Very delicious food! As a Thai person, I found the flavours of the food here very similar to the food I grew up eating. We ordered the Singapore Talay, Khao Soi with prawn, and crispy squid. Everything tasted great, and the bar staff were incredibly friendly. We also liked the decor of the pub, it felt extremely cosy to sit in the pub with candles on a winter’s day. Would definitely return!

Great drink stop on a hot day!! Lovely Thai style food up for order, little bit (for me) on the hot side but well cooked and very authentic!! Well worth a trip, just wish I could have stayed longer! Hats off to the Thai lady who looked to be the head chef; outstanding food!

Best Thai food I have tried in Brighton with excellent service. My only issue is that it is often too loud for a 1:1 as you can’t hear one another during peak times. Pub itself is lively and atmospheric with a good tap line-up so would recommend for drinks also. They close the smoking area early on weekends which is disappointing but probably due to council regulations.

Great pub with a good atmosphere but the service is always very slow and the staff are pretty rude. They will make eye contact with you and not serve you. Been there multiple times always a good evening but make sure you have plenty of time because getting a pint takes a few working day.

Went for a roast here the other day. Lovely smiley staff! Really nice pub, roast chicken was delicious. Loads of meat, yorky. Only downfall, very stingy on the veg (I never understand why when it’s the cheapest element?!) half a carrot, couple bits of kale, one brocolli stem and some red cabbage. Everyone commented on the lack of veg which would’ve taken this to a 5/5! I would say better than the roast across the road at the basketmakers because their roast potatoes were so bad!
