What a cool spot! A nice little hidden gem with unique decor. Basement feel, but still Open and inviting. If you hate the tightly packed bars and crazy wait times in downtown GR, this is the spot for you! Nice variety of standard and house specialty drinks. A small, but balanced food menu with a nice variety of apps and entrees. We had the fried Pierogis, and for our entrees: Chicken and Rice and the Catch of the Day (Triggerfish). Everything was amazing! Our server was friendly and attentive and everything was delivered to the table quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

The new Dungeon is a wonderful experience experience for the eyes and the palate.

The atmosphere is top notch and very classy yet comfortable at the same time. The drinks are excellent and the food matches.

They don’t advertise it well but we learned all of the food is farm to table fresh and it shows.

Additionally, the owner is very present and the staff very caring and knowledgeable. Tonight they were busy and the service level was on the slow side which translated into our appetizers and our meal all arriving at the same time and an extended wait time to get the check after we were all done

5 stars- hands down. This was our second time at the dungeon- it’s amazing that one restaurant can achieve excellence in so many areas. The restaurant is gorgeous and the ambiance is unmatched. A high end speak ez with a hip vibe with excellent drinks, delectable food, and inviting service that makes you feel like you belong. The drinks are made to perfection and the unique food is mouth watering. Highly recommended this restaurant. We will be back! ❤️

A total standout! The Dungeon delivers incredible small plates packed with fresh, locally sourced flavor. Service is warm, genuine, and absolutely on point. And the décor? Rocking, bold, and unforgettable—the kind of atmosphere that instantly lifts your mood. If you want high-quality food, top-tier service, and a pop of unexpected fun in your day, this place is a must-visit.

The service was decent. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with the bills.
The drinks were good but we were not impressed with the food.
Here is everything we tried:
Saganaki- delicious
Patatas- very bland
Samosas- over cooked, very little meat inside
Mango Ceviche- it was ok- would have been better with chips. (Seemed like mango salsa)
Shrimp cocktail- only a couple small shrimp
Chicken tenders- good
Spicy shrimp- good
Baked pasta- weird Mac n cheese. Not good!
Stuffed mushrooms- good
Flatbread- good
Elote dip- was really excited about this but it was not that good. My friend makes a better homemade Elote dip!

Atmosphere: the pictures look amazing but it felt weird.

Went here for the first time since the remodel. Love the vibe/atmosphere. It’s cozy and dark with cute seating options. Our server was friendly and professional. Great service. All of our food was great. My son got the whitefish sandwich which he really liked and it looked delicious. The spicy udon noodles were yummy. I only took a picture of the dessert which was the mango cheesecake. Super good.

The new theme is neat and cool. Like stepping into an elegant vampire castle.

Food and atmosphere was very chill.

Best part is they can make actual cocktails not just simple or premade stuff. Hard to find that in Grandville.

The idea of this place in Grandville is amazing. The staff is very talented, and leadership is very involved with the crew. My drinks were tasty, and the food I tried was very good. Service is responsive, professional, and prompt.
For patrons who understand this establishment is not a typical sit-in restaurant but rather a lounge with a bar, I believe they will appreciate the ambiance and menu. I am eager to see how they perform in a few weeks and would highly recommend them.

Conflicted yet satisfied?

Recently went to Villa Dungeon and had our favorite server Dani taking care of us.
I have been a few times but have to say, my guests and I have noticed there is a man who is often just sitting and staring, lingering, and honestly gives off the vibe no one wants to be around it feels a little uncomfortable.

Is he a regular? It just seems awkward and makes us all feel very uneasy.
Other than that, the staff, service and variety on the drink and food menu have always been a great experience!

The Dungeon can be intimidating at first view of the outside but after walking downstairs it revealed a relaxing and interesting atmosphere. Cool chairs, couches and unique seating. Classy bar with a range of mixed drinks and cocktails. The food great, a bit of a slim menu but all good stuff. Service from Ceara was excellent. For all they provide as a setting and great food, the price was very reasonable. Good find and we’ll be back.
