We decided to stop in to this little gem on a whim, and are so glad we did! Right away the atmosphere was calm. Pop music playing at a nice volume, not too loud, or overcrowded. Our hostess was very polite and welcoming.
The food was absolutely divine! Flavorful, cooked to perfection, and good portion sizes. And the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this place and I will be visiting again!

Got to eat from their buffet. Everything was delicious, but their mango chicken dumplings were my favorite. Mango lassi and pudding were also great. I might just be a mango guy. Service was very quick and friendly. Loved the whole experience!

Our first time trying this place. It was recommended by our niece. We will be back. We loved the platter dumplings that came with four different types of dumplings. They were all delicious, our favorite was the chili one. We also tried the rice noodles with chicken and that was very delicious. Lots of vegetables and it tasted fresh and flavorful. We will be back! The staff were attentive and friendly.

This place was very authentic! But if you’re looking for traditional Chinese dumplings, this is not the place. They have traditional Indian style dumplings and they are DELICIOUS ! WE POUNDED our plates. We highly recommend any type of meat in the masala, but the lamb is our favorite. The bison soup dumpling was also very good! Make sure to get above a 2 spice level in this if you want a little bit more flavor, but I wouldn’t go above a 3 if you don’t like spice. Service was a bit slow but that might just be because we came at a busier time. Good food! Will be coming here again!

Overall mid at best but left a lot to be desired, and the prices are way out of the quality. 4 dishes, 2 drinks, and the tip ended up about $75. Got the shrimp tempura, smoked wings, pork steamed dumplings, and chicken masala dumplings. Everything aside from the wings, maybe; was clearly premade and came frozen.
Shrimp tempura was oily, and came with a sticky chili sauce vs the soy based sauce listed on the menu.
Chicken wings were hot, juicy, crispy, and completely flavorless. They’d make a great base to toss in a sauce but without one it’s just a plain wing. They’re better if you pretend they’re seasoned.
Pork dumplings, again clearly premade. You could get the same quality or better at the Asian market frozen section. Came with a sauce that was cold and basically tasted like Tikka masala but under seasoned.
Chicken masala dumplings, the only half interesting thing here. Essentially just another frozen dumpling covered in Tikka masala sauce. The combo was interesting enough but I’d rather have the sauce and chicken inside the dumplings but that would require making them fresh.
If they cut about 5 bucks an entree it would have been closer to fair but it feels like you’re paying someone to just steam frozen dumplings for you.
I’d pass and just go hit a dim sum if you’re after dumplings.

On a recent trip to Wyoming, the Fat Man and his wife flew into Salt Lake City before driving north to Wyoming. This was on purpose as we wanted to eat at The Dumpling Company again. We were there a few months ago while in Utah. The Dumplings Company is a Nepalese restaurant serving Asian-style dumplings, soup, and noodles in a relaxed environment.
We started with the pork dumplings and soup. This was made with sesame seed, tomato, ginger, garlic, spices, and pork dumplings. We ordered this medium heat level. The soup broth was rich, full of spices, and had some texture and body to it while being packed with flavor. The dumplings were chewy, offering a great bite. The pork was tender and popping with great heat, garlic, and Indian spices. The heat was not overwhelming, but a nice warming level that lingered on the tongue. This was an excellent dish.
The next offering that we tried was the Chicken Masala dumplings. This was served with homemade chicken dumplings topped with tikka masala sauce. We also ordered this at the medium spice level. The masala sauce was sweet, creamy, and full of flavor. The dumpling was chewy, and it held the filling perfectly. The chicken was moist, tender, and juicy, full of flavor and great heat. The heat was not overpowering and gave a little burn on the back end of the bite. It lingered but did not grow over time.
The Dumplings Company has a good-sized menu offering appetizers, steamed, Masala, chili, or soup with dumplings, rice dishes, skewered meat dishes, and pastries. They serve Coke products, and the service was fast and friendly. This restaurant is a must-try if you are in the Salt Lake area. The Fat Man says that The Dumplings Company is Fat Man Approved with 3 chins.

The lunch special here is absolutely perfect. I think it’s from 12-230pm, every day but Sunday. We came here on a Saturday and couldn’t have been happier. The food is delicious, the buffet food is replenished quickly, and even though there was only one waitress on staff, she did a great job of keeping everyone happy. The whole place was full, but we only waited for a few minutes before we could sit down. The parking is easy and free in the lot out front. We will 100% be back here soon – so glad we found this restaurant! It’s in an unassuming location, right next to a business park, but it’s really a great place to eat. Lots of delicious options
The buffet is $16 per person – awesome deal!

Good food. I tried the dumpling platter so that I get to try everything and I would say that I enjoyed the dumpling here. I chose level 5 out of 7 spicy levels and it was just right for me (who can handle spicy food well). The sekuwa was also good. They do take time to prepare food though so if you are in a rush, this might not be the place but if you are ok to wait for 20 minutes (the restaurant was empty when I went) for the food then give it a try. It’s like a family business and the male server didn’t speak English but we managed to communicate.

The food was some of the best and most flavorful dishes I’ve had in a long time. I had the lunch special with three different sauces on the dumplings. It was perfect if you want to have a sample. I wish I could say I have a favorite but it was all good. All three sauces were packed with flavor. I got spice level 2 and it was perfect for me. The service was great and atmosphere nice. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. I’d come back.

The food was delicious! I didn’t even get to take a photo before we ate cause the second the plates came to the table… we DEVOURED the dumplings and their plate that was on special that night (Friday). The masala dumplings were creamy yet flavorful. The mango dumplings tasted like an apple pie in a dumpling. So good. Everything was a chefs kiss. A hidden gem.
