The combo with two entrees is a good deal. We split the Dan Dan noodles and dry pot shrimp. Noodles were great but the shrimp was not. Also had a side of dumplings which were okay. But the coconut lava balls were my favorite! I’m a textures person and this dessert checked all the boxes – crispy, crunchy, creamy, and chewy.

I’ve loved the Dumpling Lady’s dumplings (Optimist Hall) for years. This new location doesn’t have the pork belly dumplings but the pork and chive ones are very good. Today I went for lunch, the sign already said “closed” due to the holiday but the gentleman inside was kind enough to sell me a lunch special. The pork fried rice and chicken/shrimp dumplings were very good! The portion size was generous. I’m so glad they opened this additional location. I’m never disappointed.

I get the pork and chives dumplings with the sesame balls and garlic green beans. Phenomenal. And solid price too.

The dumpling were really good, small portion but good for the price! The chicken was over fried and hard to chew. It did not look like the dish that was displayed. I enjoyed the rice but was bummed that I didn’t get to enjoy the chili chicken.

This is carryout only. We had Sichuan beef, pork belly, pork and chives dumplings and sesame balls and a side of jasmine rice. Good portions, flavorful. I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally grabbed a hot pepper with the Sichuan beef, oh my! The sesame balls were delicious and a perfect end to our lunch.

Food was fresh and delicious. Had chili chicken and vegetable dumpling. Was a little spicy but loved the flavors. Nice variety.

Put Nana Li’s into your rotation! The food is quality, value is great, and it is a close to authentic Sichuan as you’ll get without going to the suburbs. The menu and style is quite different from Dumpling Lady, so don’t sleep on this if you’re used to Optimist Hall.
I got the Mapo Tofu and the Chicken in Chilis- both nailed the spice and flavor profiles I was hoping for. And came in at a great value for the amount of food as well!

Totally hit the spot. Hard to find good easy Asian food around uptown – ordered on uber eats was delivered within 15 minutes – food was yummy and hot. Will be ordering again! Had the vegan rice, cucumbers and dumplings in soup.

This place shouldn’t exist. The amount of food you get for the 2 meal combo + rice for $16 is insane. The food is amazing as well. The food is already made and ready to choose from. Their target market is office workers who need a quick lunch. Like others have said, right outside the building is a nice plaza/park with tables. Will definitely be back! My only negative comment is that the tall guy behind the counter could chill with the amount of ice he places in the cup. I hardly got any soda.

This is my last time going to Nana Li. Same experience each time. The food looks enticing and relatively healthy. Then not quite what you get when you open the bag.
Today I got the savory pork and veggies. Get it back to my office and it’s nothing like the displayed dish. Everything is swimming in a revolting amount of oil with some peppers in it. The last time I got pork and leeks, same thing. No one can eat that much straight up fat.
They did the dumplings the same. Overcooked and drenched in oil. Just sad excuses for sechewan cuisine.
They seem like nice people, but they need to work on their products.
