Seen so many billboards for this gem all over Wisconsin. Made a point to stop in and try a burger. The burgers are amazing!! I got the Brewster which had American cheese, whipped cream cheese, bacon, and Jalapeños. So delicious . My girlfriend got the Tennessee whiskey burger it had bourbon candy bacon, bourbon sauce. The potato chips were delicious as well and French fries. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere. Two Thumbs up!!

For a bar and grill this place is huge in a town with a little over 700 people. We went there because my friend saw a commercial on TV for it and it was his birthday what’s the give the birthday person a free hamburger of their choice. My friend had the Cajun pepper jack Burger & I had the steak sandwich that was grilled to perfection! I asked to be added lettuce and tomato the tomato was perfectly ripe and the lettuce was leaf lettuce. The staff was very friendly and tentative. Will definitely go there again!

This was a place on my “list” to hit – top “8” burger in WI from some rating I came across.
We took a hour detour on our way home to give this place a try. It was worth the extra time!
We sat at the bar to get the “feel” and it did not disappoint. The bartender was more than happy to provide the history, menu, and chatter to make us feel welcome – so did the secondary bartender – A+ in the “make you feel welcome area”!
Food – we had the Whitetail and the Tennessee burger’s with the chips, 5/5 from both of us. Cooked exactly as asked and delicious.
Top “8”in WI? Yes, in my opinion! It’s November and can’t wait to stop by again when the back patio opens

It’s been two hrs since my meal and I’m still stuffed! This place is great. The staff greeted us as we walked in. Drinks and food came out right away! I had the Hawaiian burger and it was delicious… messy, but delicious. The pub chips were excellent with their special seasoning. My fries were perfectly crispy. I look forward to going back and trying other options!

Burgers are remarkable. Service is outstanding. My guest and I visited on a Friday for dinner and this location was packed. The bar and tables were full, and several to-go orders were being picked up as well. Where I was sitting, I was able to peek through the very clean kitchen and the chef/cooks operate with sanitary conditions. Great selection of beers on tap, and again, you must order a burger – any of them!

Was told The Dump had the BEST burgers in central WI and I agree. Husband and I stopped by for dinner last week. I had the Whitetail burger while he had the Whiskey Bacon. Both were soooo good!!! We ordered tots, but the chips you get with the burger are amazing. Will definitely be back.

The worst service I’ve experienced- party of 2. 4 couples came in after us got their food before us( this was not lunch or dinner 2:30pm did not get out until 4:30)
Waitress did not come to our table after 15 minutes we had to ask to order our food, get drinks and when our food was delivered (after the four other couples received their food) no forks, we ordered water never received. Went to bar so we could get our bill just to get out of there.
This restaurant needs to be managed better!
On the way out another patron stopped us and said who brings the young kids behind the bar and in the kitchen.

Food is always great, but ordered takeout and went to pickup. They gave me the food and receipt and said enjoy, I tried to tell the man I haven’t paid and he just walked away, another lady came up and I told her I haven’t paid and offered her a debit card. She said we don’t take card but there’s an ATM, my girlfriend says she has cash and starts going into her purse and the lady behind the bar walked away, had to wait for another man to walk up to us to tell him we haven’t paid and handed him the cash and receipt. Thursday night with no wait for dining.

Love their very delicious burgers. The small potatoe side dish was a little light on quantity of potatoes [tasted great but I liked the sweet potatoe fries that someone else had] so I won’t be ordering that side again in the future.
