This place was a GREAT surprise. The food was very very good and generous portions. Very reasonably priced.
The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was that of a small sports bar.

Stumbled across this new little restaurant. Reminds me of a mom and pops place. Prices are very reasonable and food and service are great! So many items to chose from! Plan to go back again soon! We had chicken and waffles and smothered pork chops that were very good. Also had the fish dip for an appetizer. Looks like their breakfast choices and prices are also great and plan to try breakfast there too! Nice little place!

We popped into this hidden gem. Walked in, everyone was welcoming, sat right down and glad we didn’t have to fight or wait for the after church crowds. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was fantastic! The cuban bread was crisp but soft and the shrimp were breaded to perfection and flavorful. My friend got the dugout breakfast which was eggs, hasbrowns, bacon(perfectly cooked) and he said it was delicious. Our drinks were never empty and very attentive. Awesome mom and pop place. Definitely check them out and we’ll be back!

We tried country fried chicken which was wonderful and the fries as well. Quesadilla was very good. Fried chicken had more salt then we would prefer, but the fry was perfect, would just ask next time for no salt. We loved their cod basket as well as a side ceasar. We really think this is one of the better moderately priced places to eat in Venice with great food. They are family owned and really want their customers to like their food. Their service is attentive. They sometimes have issues when they get very busy, but try very hard to take care of everyone.

We came in on July 4th at 3 pm — not exactly a busy time. The waitress was really friendly and we chatted for a while, which was nice. Made us feel right at home.
The food… my wife likes liver and onions but is really picky about it… she took a chance on it and absolutely loved it. She really loved the collard greens as well. The mashed potatoes were especially creamy and delicious.
I had boneless wings and they usually will only do one sauce but since they weren’t busy they gave me two. I liked the Thai best.
The food was good enough that we dug in before we took the obligatory picture!

Service was excellent from the one Waitress. Only one server is needed because there are only about 6-8 tables. The food was good. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn. The meatloaf is good . it’s a big slice with onions and gravy. The mashed are homemade and the corn is good. My wife had the special, Friday night fish n chips “Grouper.” Good quality fish , beer battered.. One piece but Grouper is expensive so it’s expected..My son has the pot roast. It tastes better than it looks because it’s very dark, probably made with blackening seasoning (which is different for pot roast, ) but the meat was actually tender and taste pretty good. The gravy it comes with was also tastes better than it looks . Overall this place is definitely worth your time and money. They also serve beer and wine..Will be trying the breakfast, lunch and wings soon

We have ate here four separate times. Three for Dinner and today for lunch. The food each time has been EXCELLENT. The prices are very reasonable and the serving size is exceptional. We look forward to returning each time we can. I highly recommend a visit.
