Wow! Very good whiskey steaks and a great atmosphere. The full bar has a great selection of bourbon including Nebraska whiskey. The middle of the restaurant is where the meats are grilled and you can watch it happen while having a drink. All the folks working there are friendly and knowledgeable. The Drover is A must when in Omaha.

I had the 14oz whiskey NY strip and my husband had the surf & turf with a whiskey filet and crab legs. Growing up on the East coast, he loved seafood and they did not disappoint. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection, as we’d asked, and he said his crab legs were incredible. I ordered a Jamieon & Ginger and he ordered a Beam & coke – both were made as like 90% alcohol worth every penny. We also had a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which may have been fried in bad oil? That was the only, minor, glitch. Our waiter even took our picture before we left ❤️

We had a fantastic dinner at The Drover Steakhouse during our conference trip in Omaha — and it’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite. The vibe is classic, comfortable, and a little old-school in the best way. The interior has a rustic, dimly lit steakhouse feel that invites you to relax and enjoy good food and conversation. The whiskey-marinated steaks were rich and full of flavor. Perfectly grilled and juicy.

If you’re looking for a delicious steak, “The Drover” is the place to be. It is a quaint and cozy restaurant. Eric is a great bartender and had wonderful customer service, looking forward to going back. Seating can be limited at times so it is preferred to make reservations or you can sit at the bar. Highly recommended!

This is a quintessential Omaha steak house. The lighting is dim, the atmosphere is cozy, the staff is fast, friendly and knowledgeable, and the steaks are cooked to perfection. The drink service was right on top of us which was great. The onion rings appetizer had a unique and delicious peppery taste. The salad bar is just fine and the Whiskey Steaks are superb. This place has been in business for a long time for a reason!

The food was good. The steak was tender but I couldn’t pick up on the whiskey marinade flavor that I was looking forward to trying. Baked potato was a bit overcooked but that may be some people’s favorite way to have them. Half of our party did not get refills on their drinks and we were not checked on after we received our food but that’s OK. We had a good time visiting. The icing on the cake was how friendly the waitress was with my boyfriend she made him feel right at home with all of her physical, touching throughout our whole dining experience. She didn’t touch me, though. That would’ve been nice. I would’ve welcomed the hospitality. Making everybody split the one check equally among everybody at the table was also really awesome. I can see how that’s super fair and convenient for everyone dining.

Came here for a team dinner and had a very enjoyable meal.
The place reminds me of a traditional old school steak house with dark wood and a rustic feel.
Ordered the rib eye whiskey . It was a boneless cut and had a nice whiskey finish on the pallet. I had a baked potato as my side with butter and chives. I was very happy with the potato.
My meal came with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the salad bar and got a nice salad.
Drink options were pretty good. I had a zip line IPA from a local brewery.
Would definitely come back again for more delicious steak !
