I tried this place a few months ago after not being here for a long time and found out there were some changes to maybe owners or management. The food is really really good!
The spinach pie is delicious, the specials (most of the time) are on point. The salads are great. The wings are wonderful. Fries on fantastic.
But we have to talk about the service.
Empty glasses with no one in sight to fill it. No one checking in on how the meal is. Needing to go to the bar to ask for anything- drinks, check, flatware, condiments.
And we keep coming back because the food has been wonderful. Before we went tonight, we literally talked about how bad the service is and if we actually wanted to go there. But we decided yes.
And at the end I spent 10 minutes looking for our server, found her to ask for the check, and then waited at least 15 min for her to return, only to go to the bar to ask to pay.
The bartender said nothing, grabbed my check and walked into the back.
As someone who worked in restaurants and bars, I’m amazed at how bad the communication and service both are.
So the food is consistently great.
And the service is consistent, at least, just not how you’d want.
The servers are very nice and kind and sweet- when you can find them.
But it’s a struggle to just get another drink… get the check… it puts a mark on the experience.

I’ve been here twice before and have had okay experiences, however tonight I was very upset. We came because of the happy hour. We asked our waitress if all the appetizers were included in happy hour. She said yes. This was confirmed by the sign on their building. We decided to order mainly apps due to the special. When we received the check, only the wings were discounted. We asked the waitress to update the check and she informed us that they just told her it’s actually only select appetizers. Not only is that not what is advertised on the building, but we also explicitly asked her if all appetizers were included. This is simply poor customer service. We don’t plan to return.

First time here and was quite pleased. When we walked in we were immediately sat by a young host. She was very sweet. The food came out pretty quickly and was very good. I got a spinach pie and my friend got the Auj sandwich. Our server Brianna was very friendly and attentive. The manager also let my friend try a new wine. Overall we had an excellent experience. We will be back.

Formal Complaint Unacceptable Treatment on February 13, 2026
On February 13, 2026, my mother, daughter, and I had a very upsetting experience during our first visit to your restaurant.

Upon entering, management seated us. We waited approximately 15 minutes without being acknowledged. During that time, we observed a server attending two to three other tables with food and beverages, as well as one guest at the bar. The server walked past our table three separate times without greeting us, making eye contact, or informing us that someone would be with us shortly.

It became very clear through her behavior and demeanor that she had an issue with serving us. When she passed by for the third time, my mother politely asked her if she was okay. The server responded, “Are you okay?” in a hostile and disrespectful tone. Her facial expression and body language were extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming.

I then stepped in because respect is important, especially when my mother asked a simple question. The server stated, “I’m not your waiter,” which was not the issue. If she was not assigned to our table, basic customer service would have been to say someone would assist us shortly. Instead, we were ignored while she continued serving the tables in front of and behind us.

The treatment made us feel unwanted and discriminated against. It is disheartening that in this day and age we still experience behavior that feels racially motivated and dismissive.

We chose to leave the restaurant due to the uncomfortable and hostile atmosphere. We did speak with management before leaving. While he listened and stated he would address the situation, I am concerned that this matter may not be taken seriously.

This experience was unacceptable, and I am considering further action regarding this matter.

Server great, food great! The DJ for music bingo was awful. Dj Dino was annoying, wouldn’t shut up during any of the songs, made it impossible to enjoy the game and music. Get a new host, I wont be returning. Worst host ive seen in a while.

We have been here twice recently and both times the food & service were very good. Good desserts too – milkshakes and brownie a la mode were delicious. Soup and sandwich for lunch and both were fantastic. Lunch special was only $10 and came out fast. Place has a nice bar/tavern feel. Will def be back!

I busy day with everyone off for the holiday the poor bartender was so nice but was in charge of bar and service . We waited an hour for appetizers . Management gave her no budding support so every table was full of empty items we even bussed 2 tables for her . There is no system to alert that food is ready I had to keep asking to check . We were told they jjjust got a new owner but where was the manager??? To help ?? I am asking for my 100 dollars to be credited ! She can keep our generous tip !

I would not recommend anyone visit this establishment. My meal was 50$ and I was overcharged 100$, total 150$. I spoke to a manager the day I was there he promised to void the transaction. However they did not void the transaction, and I have been forced to open a dispute with my bank. I have attempted to reach out multiple times, the manager is very rude, acting as if you’re wasting his time. 3 months later he still refuses to refund my card or to return phone calls. Simply put this restaurant is a front to rob you. Plain and simple, I was forced to close my debit card and obtain a new one because this restaurant is obviously fraudulent. Wish I could give 0 stars

TDLR this place will overcharge you and make you run in circles trying to get it back. I see other reviews saying this same thing, this restaurant is likely a scam. Do not go here, I will be filing a complaint with the FBB because the restaurant refuses to take accountability or return my phone calls. Utterly ridiculous
