Popped in for some cocktails after having some initial difficulty finding (resides in the basement of the hotel which actually gives it a little bit of a speakeasy aesthetic). Drinks were amazing and enjoyed the conversation with the local server. Would definitely stop by again!

First of all, Kay made me the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had in 55 years. Wow! This woman deserves a medal for her hospitality and kindness.
We spent July 4th (our 19th anniversary) at The Draftsman. It’s in the basement of The Historic Park Inn. Not much in town was open on the holiday. So we hung out with Kay and played pool. We had beef tips and chicken satay. Certainly our least fancy anniversary dinner ever. But Kay made us feel like family and even bought us a round. What a sweetie!
Thanks, Kay!!

When you walk in, it’s a really cool vibe. However the bartender was not very friendly. I was one of two people at the bar and it took at least 5 minutes for her to acknowledge my existence. Cut to 20 minutes later I had my drink. She was more friendly when I cashed out but I was pretty annoyed by then.

Pretty great bar, really. We had dinner there since the hotel restaurant was not open when we arrived. The ground level bar was beautiful and service was excellent. It was a quiet evening so we had the back room with the pool table all to ourselves. The food was surprisingly good, especially the fries. Are they fried in duck fat or something? They were just very light and yummy. Flatbread is pretty tasty too, the crust is thin and crispy. Presentation of the cocktails was not very fancy but they were delicious.

Celebrating our 40th Anniversary on a Sunday night. Beautiful space in the lower level of this historic hotel. Great cocktails and lighter fare menu. Would definitely return!

I love this place. The bartender knows what they’re doing and is kind. They have a nice billiard table and comfy seating in a space that brings patrons back in time. Highly recommend!
