Social Profile:

The Down Low is Woburn’s newest hidden gem – a tailored, underground cocktail club tucked beneath the lively Brickyard in Downtown Woburn. Dimly lit, wood paneled, and humming with low brass and Motown soul, it’s a speakeasy built on secrets, swing, and slow sips. Steeped in retro flair but never stuck in the past, The DL reinvents the spirit of vintage cocktail culture with modern sensibility. The walls whisper stories, the lights move like music, and the vibe hits somewhere between a backroom supper club and a midnight jam session. Reservations are highly recommended. For reservations for more than 8 please DM. Parking is located on Main St in front or in the rear municipal parking lot.

Extremely happy that it opened up in Woburn. Smooth and layered drinks and excellent service! Great vibe and good time! We heard a live band too.

It’s so fun to find a speakeasy hiding in the middle of Woburn. The food was excellent – the fries were especially fun. But the cocktail game was what sets it apart. Mr. Pink was the standout for those who prefer a less spirit forward drink. The Velvet Underground was an excellent use of the difficult Creme de Violet, and a great diversion from the common menu. But the favorite for the connoisseur was the Bouvardier, which caused the gentlemen of the table to sigh in great satisfaction. The bar was able to to not only deliver on an excellent, diverse menu, and rose to the occasion of “spicy and citrus” with fabulous skill. An excellent evening.

Very chill atmosphere. Great DJ when I was there with friends around the opening. Drinks were incredible. Food was on point. Service was excellent! Love the wallpaper, the mahogany and the artistry. Upscale joint.

The food was prepared with clear care and attention, and the quality was noticeable from the first bite through the end of the meal. Everything tasted fresh and properly cooked, with flavors that felt balanced rather than overpowering. The ingredients did not feel cheap or overly processed, and the portions were filling without feeling excessive. Each item arrived at the correct temperature, which showed that timing and preparation were handled well.

What I appreciated most was the overall consistency of the meal. Nothing felt rushed, undercooked, or neglected. Every part of the order met expectations, and the flavors worked well together without needing extra adjustments. The presentation was clean and straightforward, which added to the experience and made the food more enjoyable.

This was the kind of meal that feels reliable and satisfying rather than flashy or forced. It delivered exactly what you would hope for when ordering food, solid quality, good taste, and a sense that the kitchen knows what it is doing. I would feel comfortable ordering again and recommending it to others who value dependable, well-prepared food and a smooth overall experience.

This is a new bar/restaurant/nightclub in Woburn. Easily accessible off I 93 very close to Boston. When I walked in, I thought I was in a New York City Soho nightclub. The music was great as I have a DJ there and the bartender is a lot of fun. What’s not like New York as I have Detroit style pizza? I won’t try to explain that to you. You’ll just have to go and try it for yourself! Apparently the owner spent time to go to Detroit to be trained by a special chef! I believe I’ll be spending a lot of time hanging out!..

Very cool ambiance. Drinks were great. Not what you would expect in Woburn under a pizza place. Will definitely return.

Vincent and the Host were fabulous. Food and drinks spot on. Amazing vibe you’d expect in Boston, but not common in Woburn. On par with Baldwin Bar cool, without the presumption or the prices.

Detroit pizza is freshly made and insanely good. Mozzarella sticks are huge and loved the honey drizzle. The basil gimlet martini is so refreshing. The drinks and vibes are exactly what the north shore needed!
