Hi Sebastian. Wasn’t planning on using your email, but I think we may have had a burger mix-up! I fear that you received one without cheese when you had in fact paid for extra cheese! Is this the case? If so I do apologize and we will make it right in the way of a refund and many beers on your next visit.
My reply was:
Burger had cheese and extra cheese and was delicious. Appreciate the follow up and offer. I will happily keep paying for beers!
The point is everyone is proud of working there. It’s clear. Strong leadership, amazing crew and great product.
Love that place.

The DW has been one of the best things to happen to our Windsor Terrace neighborhood in many years. It has been a mainstay for my wife and I since it opened. The craft beers are wonderful and the food is delicious! The bartenders are all friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. When the DW opened its side window during COVID, it was a great gift to our community. This is our go-to place for dinner and drinks and will remain so!

Came here because I heard it was one of the best burgers in park slope. It was not. I ordered a medium rare and take a look in the photo at what I got. It wasn’t bad by any means but no where near “best burger”. Perhaps best burger on the block. Fries were decent. Catfish sandwich decent. Overall seemed like decent typical bar/pub grub. Nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was vibrant on a Saturday at lunch time. A lot of kids running around though. Not sure if they just came from a prospect park little league or something. Would come back to try something else but only if I happen to be in that area. Would not go out of my way to come back for the burger or anything else.

Stopped by before seeing a movie at Nitehawk and this place definitely hit the spot. It has a great vibe for some after work drinks and a nice weekend outing. It was busy when we went on a Monday evening but the food was delicious and the drinks were perfect, reasonably priced as well! Would come back again in the future.

Double Windsor is an amazing bar! The vibes are always on point—warm, lively, and welcoming. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and the fries, onion rings, and wings are especially incredible . Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for a full meal, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Burger was way overcooked. Ordered it medium and came out well done. It was so dry. The food was also so SALTY. I drank 3 glasses of water after I finished my food and still felt like I had a salt stick in my mouth. The service?? What service?! Ordered my food and said I wanted to tip 15% which is generous for order at the food counter, fend for yourself for a seat, order drinks yourself over at the bar, refill your drinks yourself, get your own water….. I got my receipt by email and my tip should’ve been $5.70 but was charged $7.45!!! What a scam all the way around.

WOW! One of my favorite bars I’ve been to in Brooklyn. I grew up in upstate NY, and this place feels like home. Friendly servers, and the owners are wonderful. Great beer- but the best part really is the food. The everything but the wings app was delicious. I will be coming back for years to come!!

Super impressive food in a laid back bar environment. I come for lunch frequently. Specials are often the way to go, although caesar with fried chicken is always good too. Friendly bartenders, good music. Photo is a special, mahi-mahi with saffron risotto!

The Double Windsor is a great place for eats AND a hang out! The fries are the BEST! They are crispy and thin, but not too thin, and not too crispy, really just right!! The Everything But the Wings are one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. And the pretzel with beer cheese… mouth watering. I would seriously eat here every day if I could. The guy behind the counter is always cheerful, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going to this place to eat and hang out. It is absolutely awesome!!

This is a perfect pub for a burger & beer with friends or family. It was loud because people were talking and not because of loud music so the sensory experience was not overwhelming even though it was crowded. 100% would go back! It is also right by F and citibike station so it’s super convenient.
