So “kolaches” were pretty much baby food. They’re so small it takes 2 bites to finish and bread was still not completely cooked. Definitely not worth the price. I got a 3rd one called a Hill Country which I didn’t get to try but it was more reg size but higher in price which is wild. Croissant wasn’t flaky, big and just plain.
One time was enough for me to not go back.

I had my wallet here yesterday and went this morning to pick it up. The owner and Crew are the most honest group of people! If you are passing through Sealy, Texas stop here not only are they honest the Kolaches and donuts are are delicious as well

Husband left his wallet. They reached out that very evening and had reassured him wallet was put up and safe. We live in Houston my husband drove up there at 4 am and retrieved his wallet. Wonderful beautiful honest people. This really gave me hope in humanity. God bless these people and their business. I recommend this business to everyone.

First time here because we knew if we came, we would eat donuts. 80 years old now, don’t care. Best experience we have had in a long time. The egg, bacon cheese biscuit sandwich was the best I have ever had. Bacon was perfect and the biscuit had a croissant taste but not too much. Great. Our new stop before we go to Walmart to help curb our cravings. Coffee was great, as well as the donut holes and chocolate twist, whatever that was. The personnel were very polite, and the place was very clean. Thank you for being great business owners.

It was Tuesday 1:15pm…technically closed, but the open sign was still on. She unlocked to serve us! She even adjusted a frosted doughnut to fulfill my husband’s request for frosting filled doughnut.”Certainly worth the trip”…was his opinion for her generous attention to us ‘evacuated from the storm’ travelers!

We pass through here every time we head to Dallas. So it’s been a place I’ve wanted to try. The Simpsons logo attracts me every time. So we finally gave it a try. I walked in and gave a good morning to the staff. I got no response even though we made eye contact! I took a look at the donuts and I thought I saw a fly in the donut window. So I stared a little harder and sure enough a green fly was flying through the donuts and kolaches. It was so disgusting!!! To think it has so many good reviews! Never again!

Coming from a weekly customer for 5+ years, today may have been my last time. They are getting really bad about serving day old donuts. Have gotten at least one twice in the last two weeks and on less frequent occasions prior. Do better Donut Palace!

This Lil shop has AMAZING donuts and a great breakfast selection as well! Apple fritter is a favorite among our family. The glaze donuts are on point as well as the breakfast croissants. Sometimes, what I assume to be the owners’ sons, (about 2 and 4yrs old) are there taking cash and credit cards and handing you food. They’re always a joy to see. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re in town.
