The reviews on this local cafe didn’t fail me. Small town atmosphere with historic and recent photos and news on the walls. Friendly faces and great service compliments excellent food. The burgers are some of the best in town and can be complimented by large wedge fries. A new favorite. Thanks!

Moved to town not that long ago and drive by this place ever day. Have been wanting to stop in and see what the only restaurant in town has to offer. This place is amazing. Great food, super friendly staff and it has that’s small town diner vibe. I always go for some Staples to see if a restaurant has good food or not. This place has one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve ever had. The pancakes are amazing and everything’s cooked fresh. Can be a bit of a wait since it’s ran buy two people and their kids but it’s extremely worth the wait. So do yourself a favor and make the trip out to Donald just for breakfast here. You will not be disappointed.

I attended an early morning business meeting in this charming venue with a small town “Main Street” atmosphere. The folks in the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. I plan on taking my wife back to visit here again. I loved the ambiance and the people.

I have been there 3 times and the food is really good. But like another time I was there, once your order is taken, there is no service! My daughter and I went in yesterday and had breakfast. Once our order came, there was no more service. No water refills, no checking up on our food, no bringing us our check.
I went up to pay our bill and the server was on her cell phone carrying food out to a table, still on her cell phone while ringing us up and I noticed that the young (18 or 19?) woman who was cooking was wearing her hair down with her feet in birkenstocks. If I remember correctly, food handlers need to wear shoes that completely encase your feet.
Love the quaint setting and the food. I don’t love anything else about it.

My favorite breakfast spot in the valley. Small town charm, with big breakfast. Exactly the way you expect a country breakfast to be served. Staff is friendly and charismatic, the food is delicious and clearly fresh made to order. It doesn’t get better than this!

An older style cafe in the small community of Donald. A very quaint and comfortable place to enjoy a hearty breakfast or filling lunch or dinner. The staff are very friendly and enjoy spending a few minutes to chat. I had the biscuits and gravy which was more than filling. The biscuits were home made and HUGE. The wait after ordering can sometimes be longer than expected, but the food was served hot off the grill.
