Good food, pleasant atmosphere, along with helpful, kind and attentive staff!!
My husband and I were part of a large group, 20+ that dined at the Dome last night for their Fish Fry and Old Fashions. It was a lovely meal. All of our meals were served hot and delicious.
We found our new Friday night drinks and Fish Fry!!!

The paper plates are part of the charm. Has the feeling of a recreation hall or church basement. Two little arcade games for the kids. Folding tables. Only ever been here for fish, it’s typically pretty consistent in quality. Clean bathrooms. Butter’s always the right temperature. Relatively quick service. Servers are not going to hold your hand. Can’t review the drinks, but the bar on the other side seems like a good time.

We heard The Dome had a good fish fry so we finally decided to try it. This was our first time so I can’t say if our experience is typical or they had a bad night but our food was horrible. We ordered 2 meals for pick up, 1 the double perch plate and 2 was the perch and shrimp combo. The perch tasted old and fishy and texture was extremely dry and wood like. Absolutely no seasoning even on the tots and fries. I did like the shrimp and my wife liked the coleslaw. The service was okay given this was a pickup and the food was hot. I don’t know if it was a bad batch of fish but I ended throwing mine away. I might add I hate writing bad reviews but I’m not going to lie either. Good reviews are much more fun to write.

We were looking for a different Friday fish spot and my friend recommended it. Tons of cars outside, and difficult to find parking. Walked inside, and there were open tables in the bar area, so we immediately sat down. Within minutes they were taking our drink order.
Prices and portions are great. I got the seafood platter as I wasn’t sure what their fish tasted like. I think I liked the perch the best. None of what I had was bad.
Drinks were in pint glasses. We ordered old fashions with maker’s mark, $6.50 each.
Coleslaw, potato salad, onion rings are all good sides.
Only complaints would be the parking and the volume of the college basketball game. I know we were in the bar, so that was to be expected.

Friday perch dinner. Not too busy on a Friday night. Construction out front might have an impact. The Dome is still open so don’t let the construction stop you. Good food, good service.

Perch was piping hot & good, but a little fishy tasting. The waffle fries were delicious! However, half masks do not protect you; face shields are to protect eyes and mucous membranes…these won’t protect you. Saw a waitress with her nose sticking out of her mask and then she pulled it down to talk! Oh, no, not good…it’s still the pandemic and Covid is on the rise.

The staff were all very friendly and the food was great! Prices can’t be beat and portion sizes are perfect. Their drink specials are also awesome, and I enjoy the fun and welcoming atmosphere.
