It’s not a particularly cheap beef at $8.90 and $10.90 for a cheesy beef.
Ordering a meal went from $8.90 to $13.79 for a regular meal, not a large meal, and $15.27 after tax. Only pepsi products here.
Quick service and the cashier was nice.
There were also a couple of pretty suspect pieces of beef, so I removed what I could see that looked weird.
Clearly, the meat has been sitting in juice for a long time by the stiffness of all the meat.
The first note is heavy on the black pepper.
Bread and juice are delicious, but just not the meat.
There were a couple of full sheets of beef that were rigid whole deli sliced pieces but rigid because they were overcooked to death.
It’s flavorful and could be good, but it’s like someone is screaming “BLACK PEPPER” in your ear, I’ve never come across a beef that had this much just black pepper in it. There’s halves of full black pepper kernels all over the paper by the end.
Overpriced for what you get, but hopefully, their dogs are better.
The fries were very much just mcdonalds shape and size fries. They are not particularly bad but not great, either.
Only pepsi products here.

Diner stop. Good for a quick bite. My husband and I like to drop in while doing errands. Their gyros are a great size and oh-so-juicy! Shoestring fries are always fried to crispy perfection. The corndogs are also a popular choice with the kids. Chicago style hotdogs are very good, as well.

Me and my faget wannabe beaner brother bart niedzialkowski used to go here when we’re kids . I really enjoyed eating here when I was a kids after karate practice . This place never changed. My children go there a lot with my mom . Garlic gyros are the best .

Not all dogs and beef sandwiches are the same. My son in law wanted to try it out.
First- I never saw so many choices for a sandwich/hot dog.
Second- this was a real 2 lb beef sandwich with one dip and sweet pepper s and fries.
The only complaint was the price. $20 bucks ? This isn’t the hood. 100% clean and zero grefitti, just a killer grub. Look at the photos of the bag. That log of the beef sandwich was sideways in the bag.

I’ve given this place 3 chances this year and each time I ordered a hot dog and it tasted like it had been sitting in water for 2hrs with no taste! Not hard or long to steam or boil hot dogs fresh! Other food pretty good but for a place called the dog stop they should serve a consistent fresh dog every time. This was the last time l order a hot dog there. Service is friendly and other food good so not all bad but just wonder why they can’t get this right! I live in the neighborhood and have heard the same from many others but unfortunately not enough of them leaving reviews.
