One of my favorite local live music venues! Nice sized stage with great lighting and sound. Staff is awesome, always friendly. Parking lot parking, can get crowded during busy live music nights but I’ve always found a parking spot. They’ll check ID etc. right as you walk through the door if you’re there for live music events. Pool tables, darts, etc. make for a great place “to hang.” Food and drinks are good too!

I’ve been to the Dog House several times typically to watch a live band. Always had an exceptional experience. The crowd was small for a Saturday night. But the band RIVAL5 was on FIRE!!!! The Dog House offers an extremely varied array of different entertainment throughout the month. I think I’m going to check out their Texas hold’em games on a Sunday evening next.

First time customer here and seems like a very nice setup with plenty of TVs, dart boards, pool tables and even a trivia event. Seemed fairly busy for a Tuesday night which guessing by staff reactions was because of the concert at the Myth nearby (which us exactly why were there). There was one bartender and only one waiter which seemed really understaffed. We waited about an hour after seating ourselves to even place our food orders because you had just one guy responsible for serving everyone not at the bar. That was incredibly annoying, especially since we were on a time limit with the concert to go to. The waiter was sweating bullets and offered great service, so a lot respect is due to him. Food was enticingly delicious; I went with the Minnesota classic pickle roll ups for an appetizer and a Cubano sandwich fory entree. Prices are very reasonable for the portions served and the quality of the food. I’d come back again, although if I had a similar experience with slow service again it’d likely be my last visit. Even with the slow service, I chose to give 4 stars since every other aspect either met or exceeded my expectations.

One of the best bar and grills in the game locally. Amazing owner. Amazing staff. Wonderful atmosphere. From dart tournaments on Fridays to local bands and DJs on the weekends. Fantastic sports bar as well. Lots of seeing and great menu. Cannot recommend this place more.

My wife Cheryl and I, love this place. It’s one of the best places in the Twin Cities to see live music. I dont get here that often but always enjoy it. Try the fish its amazing! I have sold many homes in the area over the years and people love all the bars and restaurants like the Dog House. It’s a great place for an evening of live music.

I just have to share my experience at The Doghouse Bar & Grill! I visited back in November to watch The HYPE, and wow, what an amazing venue. It was hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable time. I was in town celebrating my last week up north before heading off to the National American Miss nationals, and let me tell you, being there was a huge stress reliever during a time that’s normally pretty hectic for me. Nationals can be a lot to manage, and being at The Doghouse helped take my mind off the nerves and truly enjoy the moment.
From the moment I walked in, the staff and everyone around made me feel so welcomed. There’s something about a place that has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and The Doghouse absolutely has that. It’s not just about the great food, drinks, and entertainment—it’s about the people too. They were all incredibly kind and made my experience that much better. It’s definitely a spot that holds a special place in my heart now!
As Miss Wisconsin Covergirl, I’m thrilled to be back in April. I’m counting down the days, and the timing is perfect because, as many of you know, National American Miss State pageant is in June, so this will be the perfect way to relax and recharge before the next big step in my journey. I’m looking forward to making more memories at The Doghouse Bar & Grill and I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Caught a gig here last night, only my second time here in a decade. Parking is super easy…. right out the door or there’s additional parking east of the building. A lot of room inside, good mix of regular height and hightop tables. I am appreciative that regular height ones were right in front of the stage! There are a few pool tables, noticed dart boards and there’s some basketball shooting hoops game. The service was friendly. There is a wall in the bathroom hallway of framed dog pics. They had a lot of great Halloween decorations. This is a great venue to catch a gig!! I had a table right in front of the stage and after their last break I moved to the side closest to the stage at my table at one end of the stage as people kept standing there…blocking my view… ha In front of the middle of the stage is where most people gather to Stand to take in the show, a few dance, as there’s no tables up front in that area, great thinking. Would definitely catch other gigs here and maybe try the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap I was eyeing up on the menu. Thanks Dog House for a comfortable environment to catch a local band!
