One of my favorite little local restaurants in town! A great place for Brussels sprouts, red beans and rice, mullet throats (if you get there in time), po boys and so much other food! This family owned restaurant serves up good food, good service and good vibes. Follow them on IG and get fun updates on menu and downtown happenings.

I have dined here a couple of times and enjoyed my experiences. Servers are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The bar service is quick and back of the house is also fast. They have inside seating as well as several tables on the street. Being located centrally on Palafox, at any busy time, outdoor seating may be noisy.

Ive had breakfast and dinner here both filling and tasty. Both Pat and Sydney provided good and timely service and were working hard to make sure customers are happy.

On my last visit I tried the mullet po-boy and it was delicious. Served on Gambino bread its the perfect ratio of fish/bread. They also have a remoulade on asking. For breakfast, I tried the avocado toast. Quite delicious, especially with some perfectly fried eggs.

I have yet to have a hot dog here because they really do have a lot of good choices on the menu.

For parking in that area there is a large covered deck one block east on Jefferson st. It’s #77 on one of the parking apps and cuts thru at the wine bar.

Fully recommended and I will be definitely back for a dawg!

This restaurant was amazing. I had the red beans and rice and apple pie martini. I finished my whole plate and the martini tasted like liquid icing. It was the best alcoholic drink I’ve had by far. Every other cocktail I’ve had, doesn’t even compare. The red beans and rice, amazing. Will be coming back for sure!

Was really just looking at stopping in for a quick beer because my wife had to use the restroom and we were trying to kill some time before meeting with some friends.

I glanced over the menu, and was immediately sold on the hotdog with peanut butter and bananas. Probably one of the best and definitely most unique dogs I’ve ever had in my life!

Met the owner. Super cool guy. Bartender was awesome and really enjoyed her job and chatting about the menu. All around great place!

Make this your first meal if you’re eating in downtown PNS! Great atmosphere and playlist with fun videos that will keep the kids entertained. Friendly staff and delicious food. Started with the Rubble Rage and enjoyed the crispy tenders. Ate the rice bowl with shrimp and Brussel sprouts with gluten free sauce and it was very tasty! Ended with the banana pudding which was a crowd pleaser for our family of 6. Will definitely go back!

As a former restaurateur with a deep appreciation for thoughtful menu execution and service, I can confidently say this place exceeded expectations.

The Brussels sprout appetizer was a standout—perfectly balanced and far from the uninspired versions that have become common. It’s clear the kitchen understands how to elevate familiar ingredients. Our server, Sydney, managed a busy floor with grace and attentiveness, even as Gallery Night crowds picked up—an impressive feat in itself.

While I was initially disappointed they were out of Blue Moon, the local Riptide from Pensacola Bay Brewery was a more-than-worthy substitute. On Sydney’s recommendation, I tried the Cuban sandwich, and she was absolutely right—it’s one of the best I’ve had outside of Miami. I’m not typically a fan of fries, but the hand-breaded onion rings she suggested were crisp, flavorful, and genuinely memorable.

The combination of a great menu, local brews, and high-level service made this an excellent dining experience. Whether you’re a local or visiting for Gallery Night, I highly recommend stopping in. As a realtor who often suggests places to clients new to the area, this one will definitely be on my list.

Dog House Deli is a standout amongst downtown P’cola’s revitalized food scene. The menu has creative twists you don’t see everywhere (e.g., top your Wagyu beef frankfurter with fruity pebbles!). Don’t scoff, it’s surprising gourmet, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. Their brunch is especially worth a visit, and if timed right, provides a nice warm up or respite from many of the surrounding activities on weekends (e.g., nearby farmers markets, fairs, and festivals). The service is attentive and friendly, making you feel like a regular from the start. Located right in a convenient central spot on historic Palafox St., it’s easy to swing by whether you’re local or just passing through. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming for all ages, with comfortable indoor seating plus an outdoor dining area along Palafox. The outside areas are pet-friendly so you don’t have to leave your furry friend at home, with bowls offering a cool drink to any “hot dogs” arriving with you.

First time dining here and I was so impressed. We came tight between breakfast and lunch (for the mardi gras parade) and Nathan (the owner) was SO AMAZING. My daughter wasn’t feeling good and did everything he could to cheer her up. Food was great and came out super fast. We will definitely try this place again next time we are in Pcola.

Great place to eat outside. Great food and friendly staff. Can’t ask for more!

We ordered the Nashville Hot Honey Chicken sandwich with fried pickles, and a foot long hot dog with fries. Everyone in our family loved the food. The hot honey is a perfect balance of sweet and heat.

My friend and I stopped by The Dog House today for lunch and I loved every bit of my meal! I ordered the shrimp po’ boy and it was fantastic… super flavorful, perfectly cooked, generously portioned and reasonably priced. The staff was so friendly, we were even treated to a sample of the mac and cheese balls… wow. It’s a great little place. Highly recommend!!
