We had a great experience at The Dock. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

The cream of chicken and rice soup was rich, creamy, and comforting — absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the double burger topped with pulled pork (can’t remember the name, but WOW). It was juicy, messy in the best way, and packed with flavor. The pulled pork took it to the next level, and the burger itself was cooked perfectly. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right.

We also tried the fried calamari, which was light, crispy, and not greasy at all, paired perfectly with the marinara. To top it off, the cocktail was refreshing and well balanced.

Great food, generous portions, and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. This is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

As of 2-10, I still have not heard back from this restaurant after they requested my email and said they wanted to make things right. Truly disappointing.

Ordered the Honey Glazed Salmon… nowhere on the menu did it mention balsamic, was not appetizing to my palette at all so I sent it back to the kitchen (first time I’ve ever sent food back…)only to get very dried out salmon with honey simply on the side.. First Dish they sent out: Mash Potatoes and Beans on the side. Supposed to of been veggie of the day and rice pilaf… Second dish, no veggies but mash potatoes and rice pilaf… it seems as if the chef had a hard time staying true to the menu. There should have been a notification if there was a substitution for the menu. Cauliflower bites, Calamari and the Margaritas were the best dishes of the night. our server was also the bartender which created a hectic feeling when she was taking our orders, she forgot my box due to how busy she was.. she was wonderful otherwise. I was really looking forward to this place but I wouldn’t return…

Server even made a comment to my mother after she had received the bill saying “I thought you were going to complain again, after only complaining one time about the wrong dish.

I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they close their doors in Joliet. I visited once in Joliet for happy hour and the food and service was great.
The Mokena location is beautiful besides, the train can be loud. Love how clean and upscale the decor is. There’s outside seating. My husband ordered the prime rib sliders. They were not assembled according to the menu. They had pickled onions instead of grilled onions, which is a bummer, but my husband said they were still good. I ordered the buffalo cauliflower as my main meal and it was ok. I ordered a famous margarita flight which seemed to have been melted by the time it got to my table, but the blood orange was definitely my favorite.

The Dock on Front in Mokena is a standout spot for hearty, flavorful comfort food in a beautifully rebuilt setting. Nearly everything we tried came in generous portions—this place doesn’t skimp.

The wings were excellent: large, meaty, and packed with flavor. The pastrami Reuben was another highlight—savory, well-balanced, and satisfying. The burger? Absolutely to die for. Huge, juicy, and full of rich flavor. Even the loaded fries, while definitely indulgent, were hard to resist.

The 10” pepperoni pizza was just okay—not bad, not great—but it’s clear that burgers and wings are where The Dock really shines. The atmosphere was lively to the point of being loud, especially on a busy Sunday night, which might be a downside for those looking for a quieter meal. Still, the wait staff handled the crowd well and kept things moving smoothly.

The decor is gorgeous—bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. The outdoor porch seating adds a great touch, and the full renovation inside and out really shows. If you’re hungry and in the mood for bold flavors and big portions, The Dock is worth the visit.

My friends and I went here for lunch and had a simply marvelous meal and a splendid time. The owner and the manager both came to our table and our server, Mary Kay was extraordinary.
We split the cauliflower bites and the goat board for appetizers and loved every bite.
For my entrees I partook of the glazed salmon with green beans which were perfect. It came with rice pilaf that was underwhelming so I left it.
For dessert we split the cheesecake and the fancy sponge cake both of which were out of this world.
What a terrific choice to eat here, we will be back.

1st restaurant we stopped at on our holiday vacation/family reunion. My relatives frequent this spot and it’s easy to see why- Cozy atmosphere and attentive service.

Grouper Reuben sandwich was excellent. The smash burger and sliders are all excellent too! Meeting the owners newborn, Meah was an added bonus 🙂

We hosted a baby shower here, and could not have been happier! The food was great! Everyone raved about the chicken limone, creamy alfredo pasta, fresh salad, and perfectly seasoned potatoes.

The party room has a beautiful greenery wall that added a perfect ambience to the room. We were able to sit 30 people comfortably.

On top of that, the service was wonderful. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

I would highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a shower or celebration. Between the outstanding food, beautiful setting, and great service, it truly made the day run perfectly.

I was so looking forward to the opening of the restaurant. We went on a Saturday night around 630, wait time was reasonable of 30 minutes. Headed over to Little Al’s for a pre dinner drink since the bar was full at The Dock, no much waiting area. Service was off to a great start once we were seated. Ordered an appetizer and was waiting for a while, after our second drink we were asked about if we ever received the board that we had ordered. We indeed had not, the waiter investigated and it’s because they were out of the ingredients, so we ordered the grilled shrimp and mashed potatoes- they were fantastic however the menu reads 5 jumbo shrimp and we received 4, we notified the waiter and response was “okay”. We enjoyed the rest of the meal with a bottle of wine. The Charleston burger was great and the pastrami Reuben was ok. Friendly atmosphere, a little loud but as the crowd diminished it got better. Overall good experience for a business that opened up 6 days before that. We would go back again to try the dishes that we wanted on the first go around. Great options that were just not bar food. The owners were friendly and asked about our experience. Great vibes going out to the business that Mokena desperately needs.

I visited the Dock for lunch for the first time on August 20th, 2025. I really enjoyed the food. I had the fish tacos, and my friend enjoyed the pulled pork sliders; both were delicious. However, the noise was unbearable. We couldn’t hear each other speak, and the waitress had to shout to be heard. We both said we enjoyed the food very much, but until the noise situation was improved, it would keep us away. I had heard that the noise problem had been addressed, so I returned with another friend for an early supper at 4:30 on February 11th. Again, the food was delicious; the Napolitano flatbread and filet sliders were a real treat. The NOISE made it impossible to talk to each other across a table by 5:00 pm. I felt for the waitress, because again she had to shout to be heard, and she had to lean way over to hear us. If it was addressed, it was a major failure. I enjoy the food, the location, and the restaurant’s look, but it is impossible to enjoy a meal and have a conversation. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back for another wonderful meal unless it truly gets better.

We’ve been to The Dock multiple times and cannot recommend enough! We’ve sat at the bar, in the main restaurant, and on the front deck outside, and we’ve had a wonderful experience each time (which is why we keep coming back!). The food and drinks are always delicious, and the staff is so helpful! Kim, our server, was so sweet and attentive. I’m beyond thrilled to have such a great place to dine in Mokena. We also love that their outdoor area is pet friendly!
