I’ve visited many restaurants, but this place exceeded my expectations. The cocktails were 10/10, congratulations to the bartender! The main courses were incredible, and our waitress provided fantastic service. I would recommend it without hesitation. Oh, and don’t forget to try the butter chicken wings!

A group of friends and I went here for the first time ever. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and we’re had amazing service. The owner did something extra special for our birthday desserts. The waitress was training someone and they both did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and recommendations we threw at them. Even went above and beyond to bring us a sample of the Tasso sauce. Even let us change the music since we were the only ones in there at the time. 10/10

I had a late night working and ordered their garlic bread and meat sauce. They sweetly sent me a dessert with a sweet note. Their food is amazing and the staff is incredibly kind! I encourage anyone to try the homemade meat sauce!

the food we had was very good. I would say my steak was a little under temp but only slightly. First we sat at a high top. Nothing is worse than trying to eat a steak at a high top table. They décor is very well done but I do not believe high tops belong at a nicer restaurant. The service was lacking. Our server was very nice but not overly attentive. My wife in I were about two bites in to our salad and she brought out our entrees. after we finished our salads and switched our plates they sat at the end of our table for the entire meal. Even after we had finished our meal and she brought over the check she did not clear a single dirty item. When we left the restaurant everything we had ordered was still on our table. I will definitely go and give them another chance but if they try to seat me at a high top I am turning around and going to Applebee’s and I hate Applebee’s.

Wow, we were hungry and searched for a place to eat in cedar rapids.
We found the district cr and thought it looked good.
What a great experience! They’re so friendly and accommodating.
My wife has food allergies and they were very careful to take care of her.
They weren’t very busy so we got great service and the food was perfect.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food and great service!

I’ve been here twice.
First time was good. Nice selection of beers on tap. Good cocktail menu. Cool atmosphere. Good service and food.
Second time it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get a burger and a sausage bowl. The wait time was atrocious. When the food did come out, they claimed my side would come out later but it never did. I heard them tell other tables the same. The kitchen was so backed up that the white rice in my sausage bowl wasn’t even fully cooked. The waygu burger had a strange texture and was chewy. The waitress also described the burger as being in a sauce which was incorrect.
I will probably give them one last shot, but not any time soon. I want to like this place.

The District has the best service, amazing Creole themed food and super yummy drinks. The atmosphere is great with a very open space and upscale decor. The staff remember our names and what we like giving a very welcoming return. A great value for great food. We frequent and recommend this to all our friends. While they have sports on the TV they also have a TV with movies we like, Harry Potter, 16 candles etc.

We went for Valentine’s Day! My husband got 1/2 wedge salad and the 12oz New York strip and I got the ground hamburger and Italian meat sauce over spaghetti noodles and a Caesar Salad. We also ordered the chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted Amazing! We will be back to try the wings and Wagyu burger!

Fantastic food and wow what wonderful drinks too!! From some amazing garlic butter chicken wings to the bananas foster, and everything in between, I was very happy with my meal. And flights of Old Fashioneds? What a treat! The staff were really great too, and the ambiance is pretty nice 🙂
