The food was ok. The appetizer was so over seasoned and too spicy to eat. Not to mention they were the peak and eat shrimp so now my hand were a mess. Couldn’t get napkins, take that back we got one each.bathroom door was locked so there went washing hands. I had asked for no onions and the dish was served with onions, server claimed they were pre made…when why did I have to wait so damn long, for a salad add fried chicken. The food went away to come back with only lettuce, cheese and chicken. Um where did the tomatoes and cheese and croutons go, I only asked for no onions. Didn’t matter to much after I found a bone in my salad, yep. The server I think was done with her job, cause it was over 30 mins before she ever came back and then gave us the check and walked off. Like why did I just pay over $80 for two to eat when only one of us got to have their full meal.

We love coming here for the food. Especially theirs steaks. to die for. This evening was different we went to enjoy a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. The District went above and beyond to make sure it was special. They all told us happy anniversary and gave us cake for later. Absolutely wonderful and friendly staff as always. I recommend so many people try this place.

We just came across The District, while exploring downtown Harrisonville. We were greeted upon walking in and told to sit anywhere. The place looked clean, decorated nicely and comfortable lighting. There was good music, at an appropriate volume. We were approached by Carolyn, the owner, who was friendly, warm and helpful with the menu and explaining various items. We settled on sharing the medium Cajun boil which was a lot of food! The shrimp and crab legs were good and there was good amount for 2 of us. We both liked the potatoes and corn also and felt the seasoning was about right, for our personal tastes. It was not overpowering. We both had a couple of drinks, which were quite fairly priced, in our opinion. Carolyn checked in with us multiple times and provided very good service. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. We will probably be back next time we are in the area.

Admittedly, they warned us the truck was late, so it was a limited menu. The salmon, mashed potatoes, and salad was good. My wife’s salmon was not as cooked as she would like and said it was cold in 1 spot. We did not address it with the server. Bathroom was clean…even had a chalk board in it you could color on.
The server was nice and he kept my tea filled, not always an easy task with me.
Fans were on, so it was a bit warm and had fan noise, but it really is just padt of the atmosphere.

My mom and I ate here for a quick dinner last Wednesday and we were so glad we tried it! Our waitress Nonnie, was fantastic, so friendly and very attentive. My mom got the wildcat burger with beer cheese for her fries, she loved it. I got the Wednesday special, the fettuccine Alfredo for $7, all pastas are $7 on Wednesday. It was pretty good. But the real star was the cheesecake, biggest slice of the creamiest cheesecake we’ve ever had, delicious!!! The owner also stopped by our table to talk to us, and again, super nice, very kind. We’ll definitely be back!

A fun, energetic, modern bar and grill, we visited at night time. Immediately were greeted by an employee Carolyn. We were introduced to the bartenders it was karaoke night and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. Our bartender told us of beer buckets they were doing and what their drink options were. Our service was a 10 out of 10 everybody was so friendly. We were even given a tour when sitting at the bar, so we knew where the restrooms were, where the back deck was etc. If you’re looking for a place to have a good time and enjoy the company of some good people then this is your place!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but the cook was really having an off night. Our appetizer of Philly fries was great. My drink, caramel spiced cider was amazing. But our steaks were wrong.
3 of us, all ordered medium rare. My husband didn’t ever get what he ordered, a KC strip. The cook messed it up twice and our servicer wouldn’t bring it out. When she did bring it out and after the owner spoke with the cook, the steak was still wrong. This time it was well done. My and my brothers ribeyes were perfect on one half but raw on the other. Our servicer, heather was great. I would come back here again but I won’t be ordering a steak again.

Started with waiting to be addressed for 9 minutes. Ordered meal after a longer wait than needed. Food came, fries were cold and soggy, fry grease needs to be changed. Pasta was cold and toast was burnt. Drink was empty when food was brought and never refilled. It appeared there was only one server although it was not busy, a couple of other tables at most. The server did not come to our table once our food was delivered. She did offer a 25% discount for the cold pasta.
We have tried here a couple of times and I keep thinking maybe something has changed for the better, unfortunately not.
